This store sucks! I walked up at 3pm on a Sunday (as they were closing) and the lady locked the door in my face and just looked at me when I asked her if they would take the package I needed to drop off. It was already labeled and ready to go. They all just starred at me and walked away.I’ll keep going to my regular Old Town location.As a follow up to the comment left…Thank you for the quick reply and yes, I’m confident it was your location - across from Costco in Pentagon City.I’d suggest you recheck your cameras because someone locked the door with me standing in front of it and it may have been a customer, whom as you correctly stated was in the store after closing…which made me even more annoyed. I even knocked on the window and the young man (I think) behind the counter looked at me so I placed my item in the window showing him it was already labeled. He just looked at me and did nothing. I understand the store was closed but there’s definitely a better way to handle this.

Best UPS store hands down. Music is always upbeat and the store itself has a good vibe which is due to the staff. The following employees are amazing. Anthony, Justin and Bri. Always helpful and friendly. Special Thanks to Anthony for his help today

I had an issue with a wrong address being entered by an employee it really messed up an event I had in LA that I was shipping merchandise to. I was very upset initially. However I am always in a rush on top of the fact I cannot see very well so I always show the employee my phone to enter in the address verbatim. However as is life... human error occurred and one digit was entered in incorrectly. I did not realize or see the screen that appears to confirm all details. I just trusted as I have done so many times before so for that I admit fault. I emailed the owner of this store Matthew and he emailed me back immediately and explained the policy and that I had confirmed the screen of the wrong address entered, as well as what I could do to avoid this as a visually impaired person in the future verbalizing that I need the clerk to confirm details out loud in a non condescending way. He was empathetic for his employee entering wrong number and how it impacted my business. I was super impressed with his prompt response , candor and overall customer recovery. Although it was a disappointing situation he made me feel that he truly cared and came to an agreeable solution to make it right. Customer service like this is a past time for some businesses so I had to highlight. Everyone makes mistakes but it is all about the response. Also let me be clear I send A LOT of packages from here successfully so this was just simply a fluke.

Beware of the incompetent “sleepy” manager that is clueless about to how resolve shipping issues generated from her store.In response to the owner: in the future you should attempt to at least speak to the customer before responding to a review. The tracking number provided by your store was not valid for USPS to track. Your manager was rude and dismissive to the issue that originated from this location. Have a nice day.

This store has problems with the people who claims to work there. the ups workers send all my packages back to sender because the women who work there do not like me so no respect from management they tell you your packages are in three different places where it’s not. They claimed they don’t anything when your packages are lost. They act stupid when ask questions about my packages they don’t care about you claim they don’t know anything as defense.

This afternoon my husband & I came to drop off 2 large bags of amazon returns. I thought I had left enough time before the store closed but the returns took longer than expected. Even though it was my fault for not timing this well, the staff, Antonio & Justin were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Antonio had a great sense of humor & was patient with me and the QR scans. I have a disability & problems standing and it was nice that I didn’t feel rushed. He said “It’s okay, we got it!”. I come to this UPS frequently & this has been hands down the best service I have ever received. And for the other ADHDers that wait till the last minute to do Christmas returns - don’t show up 15 mins to closing! Thanks Antonio & Justin! Y’all made my afternoon!

Absolutely Incredible, Caring ServiceI was in the store this evening to drop off a pretty big package, this was for an Amazon return. But, it needed to be packaged, first. I am incapacitated due to a recent surgery, so I could not lift my items. I had my items in my car, which was parked down the block. An angel by the name of AYDAN saw the situation and asked if I wanted help getting my items from my car. I WAS SO OVERWHELMED because I was already stressing over having to make multiple trips and possibly inducing more pain. AYDAN offering to help me almost made me cry.This, ladies and gentlemen, is what you call going above and beyond to help the customer.After he got my stuff from the car, he packaged my items carefully. He was so kind, asking about my plans for the holidays, etc.I LOVE this location. Everyone is always so thoughtful and kind. Even though the parking situation isn't the best in the area, I refuse to go anywhere else. I hope the owner of this UPS store sees this comment. Aydan deserves an applause. Thank you so much!!!

We came here just today to ship out a few items 20 min to closing. The UPS truck was being loaded by the carriers, and the in-store employees were conducting end-of-day tasks. What honestly frustrated us was that none of the employees made it a point to greet us and let us know that it would be a little bit of time before they could help us. Some simple courteous statement (like a "hey, give us a few min while we finish up") would have been sufficient, but nope, that was too hard. We stood there in silence while both workers ignored us, and the guy at the register didn't bother to ask his colleague if they could assist.Never had any customer service issues at other UPS locations in the area, and we much prefer UPS over USPS. We're pretty disappointed.

This is an update about the review I did about more than a month ago. It has been more than 6-10 business days and the documents that we tried to send failed to make it to the recipient. Again, don't attempt to send anything important from this store.Irregardless of whether it may be USPS or UPS, your staff should have let the customer know that this were to be the case. In the first place I wouldn't be sending through UPS if I've know that you were going to send it via USPS service. I would have gone straight to USPS. And AGAIN, I did NOT use the basic option. I selected the second most expensive option with the faith that it will make it there on a timely manner. . Your staff should ought to inform the customer if this were to be sent to USPS. People should be made aware. I hope. you understand the frustration where I am coming from.

I have a box at this store and they recently "lost" my package. When i received the delivery notification from UPS and went to this location, Kat indicated the package could not be found even though her name was on the tracking notification as the person who signed for the delivery. When I asked where the package was she was only concerned with telling me she was not the person who signed for it. She also noted I had to file the complaint even though she signed for the delivery. At not point was there a sorry offered.Fast forward a week, after me filing a complaint and having to reorder the items. I go pick it up and the original package appears. More than a week later. When asked when it arrived, Kat had no answers, though you scan the packages, she could not tell me when it arrived or when it was actually delivered...NOTHING. She said tracking doesn't offer that detail...excuse me (confused face)?!?!? Again, at not point was an apology offered.While i have worked with her before without issue, she has no business being a manager. She has no desire to provide answers, take extra steps or provide basic customer service. Do not purchase a mailbox at this store if you value your packages.

I came in UPS STORE 6199 yesterday to get a paper notarized! when I came in the guy that works there greeted me, ask me how can I help you? I immediately told him I need a paper printed and notarized he said Ellie will help you as soon as she done. She came straight over and said i’m waiting for your paper to print it took a couple mins to print and she than told me that our internet have been acting up all day but after while she was able to print. she than filled out the part as the employee has to fill out and then I filled my part out. I was like in a bit rush to as well . then she said let’s walk over to the counter where i can ring you up. she than said did they tell you it was a few to print I said no she than proceeded and said it’s company policy I said well that’s okay i’ll pay for it rung me up and i left she helped me out a lot because I didn’t even understand the paper I had to notarize. today I was looking for my bank card and couldn’t find it but the last place i used my card was at the UPS STORE 6199 I than called today and asked for the person that helped me yesterday which was Ellie I said hello i left my card there and she said yes I have it normally someone could have took it or threw it in the trash but I’m glad it’s still some honest people in the world. I returned back to the store and retrieve my card and told her I’m forever grateful that she had my Bank Card! that made my day! She has great customer service and will go beyond for her Job ! I’m impressed! Thank you Again Ellie!!!! 5 Stars For her please !!!
