Kindness is needed more now than ever. Angel who works at Starbucks in Terminal D at DCA Airport is a complete breath of fresh air. Every single time I see her she is so kind, outgoing and treats EVERYONE so well, including people who are not very nice. She also makes an amazing Oatmilk Latte. ? ?? I have to escalate this review to headquarters. More love, less hate.

So usually Starbucks in an airport is chaotic at best. But there’s this lovely person working there named Erika who brings some smiles to this place. She greets everyone with a smile while singing and making your coffee. She had me cracking up and everyone there was commenting on how they couldn’t help but smile. She definitely reminded me to find the joy amongst the chaos.

Take out version of this chain coffee shop. All the coffee and pastry versions as the larger stores but definitely missing the hang out vibe - this is get up and go, not the relax and have some java spot; of course, this is an airport…. Overall good quality items and good service - definitely recommend for those seeking familiarity and a quick bite.

I never got my drink because it took more than 20 minutes after I placed the order and I had to board my flight (and others around me were waiting longer). Probably the slowest Starbucks I’ve ever visited. Don’t come here unless you have more than half an hour to spare.

I was greeted with a smile and my order came out quickly. Whoever was making drinks at 10:30am on 10/31 deserves some recognition, though unfortunately I didn’t catch her name. She was friendly and made my drink perfectly. Shorter, with some red in her braids. Thanks!

Absolute WORST service and baristas I've ever encountered. All they did was talk and look at their phone while the line was down the corridor and the customers waiting for their order was just as long. They show no sense of urgency or desire to work. Literally watching 2 batistas just look at their phone. 6 workers and no one doing anything but laughing and talking and looking at their phones. Ridiculous Starbucks come on get it together this is an airport people have flights to catch!

I only give them a 1 ? because we have to. I have been at the airport for 5 hours and wanted a coffee. I Get ready to walk into the Starbucks at terminal 2 at 7:50 pm and the tell me they are closed. I ask what time do you all close and they reply 8pm. What a joke ?

RE DCA TERMINAL 2 National Hall location: Just such a bummer when an establishment you trust is so disorganized and unprofessional. Super busy location and baristas are talking to each other - singing out loud to the music - and generally not focusing while orders are being lost and taking 30mins to prepare. Especially bad when trying to make a flight on time. I travel a lot and this is the WORST airport Starbucks I’ve EVER been to. Had to ask 3 times about a lost part of my order- waited 30 mins overall after ordering on the app - watched the crew act like they didn’t care how deeply in the weeds they were- and when the food item I requested was made- it was called out by the item- not by my name - so I had to assert they were my lost order to another customer who was waiting. Bonus - food came with NO FORK.

The team working this morning brightened my day with their energy and zest! Just what I needed after sleeping on an airport floor amid flight cancellations. Give these people a raise!
