Dr. Cabin has a wonderful bedside manner and he was so knowledgeable and patient with my many questions during my consult.

I was able to schedule an appointment within a week. They did run the appointment promptly. Dr. Sowash was patient and explained in detail.
Be warn: the clinic did not validate parking and the parking is expensive (I paid $8 for parking approx an hour).

By far the best experience I've had with injectables over the last 10+ years. Both Dr. Cabin and the patient coordinator took their time to explain options very thoroughly and addressed my many concerns/questions. I was hesitant to do tox again due to prior experience with a heavy-handed injector freezing my entire face, heavy brows and a crooked smile. Dr. Cabin patiently explained how his technique and conservative approach would give me better results. I also decided to have temple filler, which gave me a bit of anxiety due to the risky location. Again, Dr. Cabin put me at ease by explaining how his approach greatly minimized the risks. I already LOVE the results and do not have the slightest bruise or pain at all the next day. I am so glad I finally found a provider I can trust that can also do more invasive treatments when the time comes.

This is a top notch office. Everyone is friendly and efficient. I've never had to wait long. The Dr's, PA's and other staff are all knowledgeable and skilled at what they do.

I went to skin DC for my skin discoloration, for about a year and half they told me the treatment process for skin discoloration takes long time. After spending thousands $ my skin got worst. Before it was in one area on my cheeks now it’s all over my face it made it worst. All they did take my money for useless treatment. Will never recommend this place to anyone. Not to my worst enemy. They made their place nice and luxury, stuff with uniforms and headphones bla bla but treatment 0 absolutely 0, I use to wait for hours for 3 mins consultation. please don’t waste your time and money.

Avoid them if possible.
Initial consultation was fine. Dr. Sowash checked out my skin and recommended we remove a angioma and have it sent for a biopsy to check for malignancy.
Follow up session to remove the angioma was also smooth and quick.
However 2 weeks later, when the results of the biopsy came in, I had someone (not even sure if this person was from SkinDC) read out the report to me over the phone and then he hung up the phone.
When I went to the clinic and asked for the report, they insisted that the phone call was them giving me the report. After I held my ground that I needed to get it in writing, they made me fill out a form. I then asked when Dr. Sowash would talk to me about the report and its findings and I was told, that would be a follow up visit (and hence another co-pay). You would think that if the doctor orders a medical test/biopsy, the least they could do is call the patient with the results but apparently that would deprive them of the chance to bill insurance once again and hence a loss of revenue.
If you are looking to nickle and dime someone for every small detail, you aren't fit to be a doctor taking care of patients.

I went in for a pico laser treatment to get some sunspots removed with Dr Stovall. A day or so after the treatment it was clear that the laser didn’t work- in fact it had scarred my face. The dr prescribed skin brightening pads for me, and assured me that it would take a few months to clear up. This assurance kept coming every time I went back in for follow ups and more pads. Fast forward and it has been well over a year and I still have scarring. It was a really frustrating experience. I consulted with another doctor, and he said that any laser comes with a risk of scarring, particular with dark skin, and they could have done a test to see if that would happen. I asked the practice nicely for a refund for the treatment since it didn’t work. The office manager was condescending and told me that they did everything right, and were trying to treat me so they weren’t going to give me a refund. The next thing I hear is the front desk informing me that they will start charging me for the brightening pads, so clearly that was a cue to quit coming to them for treatment. If you are a person of color, I would absolutely not go here. I went in to remove sunspots and instead I ended up with scars.
UPDATE: I used the “contact me” form as requested and did not hear back from anyone. It appears that skin dc doesn’t really intend to respond to customer concerns, but comments back on reviews to give the appearance they do.

I had to cancel my appointment, but could not reach the front desk. Called so many times - no answer! So I ended up having to DRIVE all the way to the office and walk-in to cancel. Every time I am in here, there are so many employees at their front desk, but not a one of them is answering the phone.
If you are not going to answer the phone, at least get a SMS system like the other practices so that you can communicate with patients. Very frustrating!

I recently moved to VA, and it had been 7 months since my doctor in CO had given me Botox. I tried another doctor in the interim and was disappointed in the results (i.e. "batwing"/more movement than I wanted). It has been 1 week post touch-up, and I am very impressed with the results! Dr. Keaney is efficient and very professional. My skin looks amazing, and the results exceeded expectations. Staff is also super friendly and helpful. Looking forward to coming back!

Skin DC is so amazing, it’s a clean welcoming environment. Dr Cabin was so knowledgeable in explaining how each laser worked and every step he took to make sure I knew what was happening and comfortable. I’m sending all my friends there!

It's actually really difficult to find a derm practice that isn't primarily trying to sell you cosmetic procedures vs. practicing medicine - that's why we love SkinDC. Dr. Stovall was wonderful. Excellent communicator, friendly and efficient. I had some skin tags and moles I wanted to remove because they were irritating with clothes and cosmetically unappealing. It was simple, their front desk staff is lovely, and while this wasn't covered by insurance they do accept insurance and are transparent with what is covered BEFORE the procedure, so there's no surprises. Highly recommended!

The dermatologist and her assistant were very helpful, gave good advice and took sufficient time to make sure all my questions were answered. I was able to schedule an appointment for the next day, instead of the usual weeks or months in other places. The prescribed products solved my issues in a matter of days. Recommended!
