Operators of the phone are very rude and inconsiderate. Operator also insisted "We closed the store" despite google listing saying she's open.

My experience was amazing! I dropped a cologne bottle off to get engraved at 12:00pm the bottle was done 2 hours after and ready for pickup by 4pm. The employee was super nice and helpful when picking my design. 10/10 experience I will be back again!

I couldn’t say better things about this company. They went out of their way to do my custom project (4 bracelets) at the last minute, and it came out exactly as I’d hoped. They and Mory at Real Jewlers, Inc. knocked it out of the park!

Becky is phenomenal! She is helpful and her work always turns out great. Customer service is awesome! The store has a variety of items to choose from. Take the time to look because there are hidden treasures even in the smallest places. I know that the store will be moving online but I am confident that with the number of years Becky has been in business, she will continue to do well. Best wishes, Ship's Hatch!

My office/directorate has used the Ship's Hatch for the past 10 years purchasing colleagues' retirement or assignment rotation gifts. Miss Becky is a joy to work with and has met every short deadline given to her, with a smile. There are no other options in my boss's (Mr. Cartwright) opinion!

Ship's Hatch is a wonderful resource for both personal and professional engraved gifts. They have produced personalized pens, cups, water bottles, clocks, crystal cubes, and more for me. All are done beautifully, timely, and affordable.

I've been getting my going away presents and awards in this shop. They pretty much have everything- especially the services, Navy stuff, nautical items and they can also engrave pretty much everything! They're very professional and located in the heart of Crystal City Shopping Center. The parking can get bad but they validate, otherwise you have to pay $6 for the first hour. The shop owner, Becky, is always very helpful. Their prices are very reasonable considering their location and the quality of their products. I had an engraving that I needed for a plaque and she was able to get it done in one day! Becky also helped me pick out a couple different items for another friend's going away and retirement presents. I was even able to find some White House presents there for my husband. I'm very happy with their customer service. I highly recommend them for any of your souvenir, engraving, embroidery, and personalized presents. They're one of the best!

Extremely disappointed. Here for the week working. Went for a walk last night, window shopped while this place was closed. When back today while open to really look. I had picked out approximately $350 in items I wanted to get. Much was gifts so I needed to verify if family would wear, etc. Started to take a photo of two flag hoodies. The point was to send to my daughter to ask which one would fit her grandmother better. I'm a single dad and have zero skills in that stuff.

Ship's Hatch is the BEST nautical gift store in the United States. I've been purchasing fabulous, custom-made gifts there for 25 years, including Ship's Clocks, Navy Ball Caps, Plaques, and insignia. Please IGNORE the poor review on this google site (and it has no text with it) ... Ship's Hatch is OUTSTANDING, and the customer service is too. You should visit! By far the best merchant in Crystal City and all of the DC Area
