UPDATE: they're still solid 5 weeks later (I was on vacation and then moving - don't judge me). see photos.
I recently came here for the first time. I got Apres X gel because I needed extensions and they had to last my full 3 week vacation. Bibi was insanely skilled and took her time to get every detail right. I'm a perfectionist and neurotic about symmetry, and I legit couldn't find a single thing to bother me.
She spent 2.5 hours (!!!) getting every detail perfect and nailed my inspo pic to a TEE.
That said, it was $145 all in (Apres X + extension + design + tip) so I admittedly won't be back consistently. But this was exactly what I needed for my big sexy French vacation. They look like new 3weeks later with no lifting. I can't recommend them enough for special event perfection (or if you're rich af).

If you're planning on requesting their service, do not waste your time/ money.(If f you're not completely sure on whether or not you should. Then check out the customers' reviews. Worst case scenario, you're one of the few that decides to once again request) pay for their service. If I could, I would give this mediocre “nail salon" a negative zero star, but unfortunately Google doesn't provide that option... I bet the “Rose“ stands for rotten, because of the lack of hygiene in this place. Other than that, the ridiculous sky-high prices for a given service that's clearly not worth it, it's worth for this is place to be shut down ASAP!!

My appointment started 20 minutes late. I booked an appointment for a gel manicure and was told that because I had builder gel I could only get my nail polish removed and that I wouldn't have time for the service I booked. Understandable- that would've been fine if they hadn't started before telling me this and taken off two nails. if I had known before they started removing my polish I would've rebooked with more time (and they didn't even give me the option to rebook and come back the next day. Instead they offered me a chance to wait an extra 40 minutes so i could get squeezed in. I understand they were trying to be helpful but it's still a huge inconvenience). I was rushed out my chair and only given a 50% discount for my forced removal. I was going to use this spot for my wedding. Glad I saw how they really operate.

The BIAB manicures here are fantastic. They last for weeks, strengthen your nails, and have turned me into a regular. The technicians are nice and super talented. Gel pedicures last even longer. The facility is clean, cute, and they offer you a beverage as soon as you walk in. Be aware; you MUST make an appointment to get serviced, as they are always fully booked (and for good reason)!

I drive 20 minutes for Rose Nail Bar -- let that be enough to persuade you in coming here. I started coming to Rose Nail Bar in the fall after a friend recommended BIAB.
The price may startle you at first, but just know that their manicures last 5 weeks - yes, 5 weeks.
Instead of getting a manicure every 2/2.5 weeks, I now go every 5 weeks.
I also book 2/3 weeks out to make sure I'm able to get in!

Rose Nail Bar is one of the best nail bars in the greater Washington DC area. The entire staff does an incredible job with nail care and design. My only point of feedback: I wish they would ask if people want to provide their tech a tip rather than asking, "how would you like to tip?" The nail serves are not cheap (they're worth the expense) but presuming that people will be providing a tip feels inconsiderate. Inflation is high and the economy is shaky. Let your patrons determine if they want to tip without making them feel pressured to do so.

I wanted to try a nail salon closer and a friend recommended this one. I also didn't know much about a Russian manicure and wanted to try it. It was difficult to get through via phone but eventually got through and someone emailed me an appointment time. Rose sent me a text to see if I could arrive earlier, which I could. The mani was fine - Rose was fine. What I didn't love was what was put on my nails at the end - I guess it was some type of fast dry drop. It caused tiny bubbles in my polish. I sent a text to Rose and it took her a while to respond. She asked for a picture, which I sent and then nothing. I do use regular polish and not gel so not sure if that had anything to do with it but to not remedy the situation left a bad taste. Won't be going back. My friend went at a separate time to get a pedicure and apparently they don't automatically do a foot massage, so she emailed to add it and they didn't and wouldn't do it on site. Ew. I'm so confused by all of the reviews or maybe I'm just used to a different type of salon.

This is my go-to nail salon and the only place I trust for BIAB/builder gel manicures!! All the staff are experts at what they do and the quality of their work is top notch. I can always count of them to execute the nail art/designs that I want as well.

Rose likes to say I am not a picky client, but little does she know that I searched high and low for a nail tech and salon of her calibur in NOVA. Rose and her team are extraordinarily efficient, talented, and kind (and her dry manicure prices are extremely fair for the exceptional quality of work). Rose's technique is absolutely flawless, and I have never had a single manicure break in the year that I have been going to her. She does incredible nail art, and always works with your ideas to make the vision possible. I even worked with a few of her other techs - which she trains in the same BIAB technique. Bibi is excellent, and you can guarantee the same attention to detail across any nail professional you meet at Rose Nail Bar. Bibi did my most recent french manicure, and I get just as many compliments on these nails as Rose's more intricate designs. Book today - you will not regret working with the ladies at Rose Nail Bar.

I rarely write reviews but this place deserves all the stars. With their Russian waterless technique with BIAB builder my nails have never looked better. Only having to go every 3-4 weeks is worth the time and cost. I've had Amy, Angie, and Rose all do my nails and they turn out exactly what I ask for every time.

I’ve been coming to rose nail bar for a while and I’m very happy with everything from the service to my nail art and overall nail growth. My nails have never been strong but with the BAIB manicure they have naturally grown out long and healthy. Every time I’ve shown a design that I’ve found they have recreated it flawlessly! Can’t recommend them enough :)

I have been going to Rose for years now and there is no other place I trust with my nails! I have seen almost all of the nail techs here and feel comfortable going to any of them because they are all great. My nails last forever and never chip or break, which says a lot because I used to always have a broken nail at the end of 3-4 weeks when I went elsewhere. They can also do any design you request, which is hard to find around here. I can't recommend Rose Nail Bar enough!
