Convenient location for those who live nearby, nice owners, but verily overpriced. They also have a $10 min for cards which is ridiculously high.

Lots of selection, convenient location, but I have found some expired items so be sure to check dates. They also have a $10 minimum on credit cards which is ridiculous for a convenient store.

Prospect Market has good variety of food, medicine, snacks, and household items (even unique items like vases and decor). I'm surprised to see an extremely negative review for this market, as the owners are very friendly and the market is far cleaner/organized than Fort Meyer market across the street. They do have expired items for sale, but they're always very discounted and their main inventory is up to date. The only downside I would point out is that there is a $10 minimum for all card purchases, but otherwise a nice convenience store for the neighborhood.

This market is bad. Stay away. Many items are expired. The proprietress is nasty. As an alternative, there is the delightful Ft Myer Market around the corner - next to The Quarterdeck restaurant. The people who run the market are super nice and they have a good, fresh selection.

Most of what you need in a convenience store is available & is a lot cheaper than the goods in main street. Nice couple & very helpful.

Fascinating little market in the basement of the Prospect House. This is a fairly iconic building on the Arlington, VA landscape. In any movie or shot of DC with all of the monuments lined up, you will see this 1970's building in the background. This store is run by an older couple in the basement of this building. It's essentially a convenience store for the building and the area. They do have some random items, e.g. Discounted items in the expired section at CVS, which they seem to resell here. They also have some odds and ends from panty hoes to tomatoes. If you drop off your dry cleaning, they'll do that as well... And they make copies of keys. Since no other store is right in the area, most of the goods they sell are very highly priced.
