Recommend a reorganization. Tim (Assistant Manager - bad haircut - hat) is Not a people person. I would fire Tim. Ineffective. He hides from customer issues/pretends to be on his computer. Tim hires immature staff and then becomes friends with them. Instead of addressing issues - he attempts to investigate issues and take pictures. Tim has no control of his Staff. He jokes around with his Staff and then place becomes like a Frat House. Laura is excellent. Rare gem. I don't care what they think of me as how can they Judge Customers based off their own behavior??? Justin is back? Really. He used to hang out at the front desk - like a groupie.

I have been a member for 3 years. This PF is always clean and well maintained. Broken equipment is usually fixed quickly. Given the area we live in, it can get crowded, but the ‘crowd meter’ on the app lets you know how many people you will have to navigate around before you arrive. I look for the quiet hours, but that does mean arriving early in the morning or late in the evening.

I went to this particular location because the Planet Fitness, where my membership is based, was closed for an event. I was impress by the layout and neatness of this location. The associates at the service were helpful and very cool to interact with during my time there. I will be going back to this location. Well done, PF of Arlington!

I wanted to share an experience my husband and I recently had at the Arlington Pentagon Row center. We have been proud members of the Planet Fitness community for the past four years. However, during our last visit, we encountered an incident that left us feeling quite disheartened, primarily due to the way it was handled by the staff. Here's a brief overview of the issue: On a Saturday afternoon, my husband and I were working out in the weights area. It was not crowded, and there were plenty of available benches. We were using two benches next to each other for our respective workouts when another member, who was using the same bench behind us on a smith machine, left his spot and approached us. He asked if we were using both benches, to which we replied affirmatively. Unfortunately, this individual proceeded to use offensive language, calling my husband an offensive name simply because he wanted the benches we were using.Naturally, we were taken aback by this unprovoked confrontation. We attempted to reason with him, pointing out that there were other available benches he could use. In response, he used even more offensive language. In the face of this bullying behavior, we felt compelled to respond in kind, which seemed to surprise the aggressor.Subsequently, my husband decided to involve the staff to prevent the situation from escalating further. This is where the unfortunate part began:The staff appeared unsure of how to handle the situation. They called over another staff member (whose name we won't mention), who seemingly ignored our perspective. Instead, he listened to the aggressor's fabricated version of events, conveniently omitting his use of abusive language and his attempt to acquire the same bench we were using. The staff's proposed solution was for us (Me and My Husband) was to politely ask the aggressor to use other benches. While we were more than willing to accommodate, this request hinged he had asked us on mutual respect and courtesy, which were evidently absent in this case. Not only was this individual a bully, but he also displayed sexist behavior. When my husband reported the issue to the staff, he was met with derogatory comments like, "You went crying like a little girl." Furthermore, when I responded to his abusive language with similar language, he criticized me for "not displaying ladylike behavior."Respect and collaborative solutions should be a two-way street. What troubles us most is that the staff seemed disinterested in hearing our side of the story. Their lack of empathy and understanding was quite disheartening. While we understand that resolving such situations can be challenging, we believe that a fair and unbiased approach is crucial. We share this experience not with expectations of immediate action but with the hope that it serves as constructive feedback. We value our membership at Planet Fitness and believe in the principles of respect and inclusivity that an should organization stand for.

Lexi is one of the best people persons you will ever meet, no, she has to put up with a lot of wild expectations people wanting to do shadowboxing where other members could be hurt. Not even a space for this type of boxing all by bit nutty. Lexi is a wonderful leader. Running a tight ship at work with the most effective team more than what any one could expect like it's her own business. - she looks out for the safety and happiness for all. After all that she's a wonderful mother in her spare, time lexi over the years doesn't change she is always professional always looking out for the industry as a whole. She is the reason so many of us keep our membership.

One of the racists gyms in Arlington, the staff favors the culprit. Big uncles think they got right to abuse non native. Staff cannot handle the situation. This place should be avoided if you respect your own integrity.

The gym manager (Lexi?) claims that there is no shadowboxing allowed at all Planet Fitness gyms. I felt harassed, discriminated against, and judged when she approached me mid-workout to tell me to stop doing what was my cardio workout, punching mitts. I was not even sparring or doing any boxing. Since this is the first and only time someone approached me to tell me this "policy" I asked to see the gym rules. The week before, I did the exact same "boxing" and none of the staff approached me with this secret policy. None of the rules stated no shadowboxing. I checked the PF website and again, no such rule is stated in the PF Policies. (See link).Meanwhile, there was another gym member who was shadowboxing and continued to do so yet this Manager did not go harass him. As I was still being lectured and judged by this manager who kept insisting it was a policy, the other member continued shadowboxing in the back of the gym. This has been such a humiliating experience that I don't feel welcomed to workout at this gym or any Planet Fitness. How a manager can arbitrarily make up rules that don't even exist on the official Planet Fitness Policies and take it upon herself to humiliate a member is reprehensible. For a place that supposedly is a safe judgement free space, I am deeply disappointed with the hostility and the judging manner of the gym manager.Other reviewers are right about the micro-aggression aimed at people not of a certain race. Interestingly, the other member who was shadowboxing and not harassed by the manager is of the same race as the manager. I, on the other hand, am an Asian female. But apparently, the manager is enforcing the "no shadowboxing rule" on me because I might be "intimidating." Seriously?! That 6' African American guy over there shadowboxing is not intimidating but I am? So Planet Fitness is "judgement free" but only Planet Fitness managers get to judge members and arbitrarily create and enforce phantom rules that only she knows about. Right!planetfitness.com/about-…

Beware! this business is after your credit card. They reason out just for them not to close your account. I went there to close it but they said manager is absent. I did not use it for months and still paying it.Terrible, terrible and unethical business culture ....

The gym is clean and the equipment is usually in good repair. Because it is somewhat small, it can become crowded and difficult to get equipment needed for one's workout. That problem is exacerbated by patrons who hog equipment by doing excessive numbers of sets and by messing with their phones.Enforcing gym courtesy is difficult. But it would helpful to discourage patrons from spending excessive amounts of time on scarce pieces of equipment.

Inconsistent hot water, broken shower stalls. Idiot architect who installed showers has no drainage so the lockers flood and are a fall risk after one person takes a shower

Great Planet with lots of new equipment. Temperature wasn’t freezing inside which is great compared to many other planets. Staff was interactive and entire gym was clean. Lots of space for your workouts has 2 of mostly everything except a leg press machine.

I have spent the last 10 days in the DC area and tried multiple locations. By far this location was the best of the different Planet Fitness I visited. The gym was clean and there were no machines out of order. The staff was helpful and kind. Definitely worth the drive to get there.

I found the equipment in this gym well maintained and the operational hours were good but why I rate it so low is because one sunday morning whilst training I placed my car keys, wallet and a few personal items in the locker room and locked my locker only to find somebody broke into my locker and stole everything. When I complained to the front desk they were not helpful at all and generally just didn't care. Therefore I wouldn't recommend a place that doesn't help their customers.

I recently signed up for membership and when I visited Pentagon City location I scanned my QR code then a lady works there called me out in a rude and yelling manner because I didn't have a profile picture. I was annoyed and upset, as I felt her behavior was unprofessional and rude. In my opinion, if this kind of attitude is not addressed, it could result in customers either switching locations or canceling their membership.
