This place is excellent! Easy to get in without needing to schedule; parking out front, very friendly and capable staff; I’m so glad I tried them out today! We got our passport photos in just a few minutes and it was easy and seamless. And for a great price!

Really great place! I went in to get passport photos and the owner knew all the requirements. The photos came out very well and within minutes. Easy parking and access. I would recommend to others for all types of photos!

Not sure why I have never reviewed this place, but I will continue to go to them for my photos, especially passport or visas! He will help you look your best. Tell you to pose a certain way, make sure the pictures meet the requirements such as background and size. I really recommend this place!

I highly recommend this locally owned business! Tony recently transferred video from around 30 VHS-C tapes to digital files that I could then download on my computer for permanent storage. These videos contained priceless family memories and now they are preserved forever. Tony did a great job! I would gladly use him again.

Photo Scope Studios has been an establishment in the Arlington area since I can remember. From having my first passport photo taken here to my senior pictures to my professional headshots no one makes you feel as comfortable as the owner here. Tony and his staff are friendly and cordial. If you have any photo needs I promise you there is no better place to go. Can’t beat the quality.

Prices are NOT transparent and services are added WITHOUT discussion. If you enjoy being TALKED DOWN to by an arrogant provider, go here.I should’ve known to avoid this place after asking what prices were on the phone (because they don’t show transparent pricing on their website) and the owner talking down to me when I asked what sizes they were able to print. But I was in a hurry so I went with them since they’re 10 minutes away and could turn around in days. After sending the photos we want printed, we were asked to come in to verify. When we went in, they said that they took my original photos and retouched them; that they believed the prints would look better this way. That was a surprise. We did not ask for this nor were we told this was an option. Felt like a complete bait and switch. They also criticized our professionally shot photos saying in an arrogant way that “all the OTHER photographers are shooting in this trendy way which is why we have to retouch our way.” Just… wow. ??So after getting the photos printed, we asked for the retouched digital files so that we could have the source file. And at that point, the owner went into a long very rude condescending spiel about how he “should have charged me more for the retouching (again, which we didn’t ask for)… that he was “happy to repeat himself and be redundant”. Who speaks to a paying customer this way???? Or feels they have the license to treat anyone with such rudeness??Needless to say. Arlington is a small city and word gets around quick. I will NOT be returning here EVER and will be warning all the Arlington mom groups and on Nextdoor to boycott this place - avoid having your mood/day ruined by a really negative person. There are plenty of places you can get a photo printed… and everyone else seems to service their customers with a smile, or at the very least, with simple courtesy of decent politeness.PS. One 36 x 24 and one 24 x 18 photo came to a total of $150 at Photo Scope. (If you go to Framebridge, not only do they treat you respectfully but they print any size photo professionally for free as long as you frame with them. So… in short, this place is a rip off.)

Unprofessional and the pricing changes too much. The wait was also too long. Overall bad experience

I had to have a professional headshot taken for a new job, and Tony was amazing. He made me feel at ease, and he worked patiently and thoroughly with me on the images making sure they were what I wanted. I am super happy with how the shots came out, and, most importantly, so is my new place of employment. Also, prices are more than reasonable!

I needed Canadian passport photos for me and my son. They did an amazing job--quick and exactly the right specs. They worked really well with my toddler and got him to take a great picture!

Photoscope does the thing. My thing is walking in with old 8MM/Super 8MM film reels and getting them digitized, on time, and quality file (MO4) outputs. It means a lot when you're the (globally diverse) family media archivist with film from back in late 1940s. It's not cheap but quality is not ever cheap. I have fam from Quebec who give me reels in old yellow Kodak boxes because I (Photo Scope down the street) can get it done.

I couldn't be more pleased! At 73, I was concerned that I wouldn't be happy with a head shot for an upcoming publication. Tony allayed that fear. Pleasant, professional, and thorough, he listened to me and made me smile.
