Great store. 100% geared towards runners at every level. I’ve purchased from here twice. But likely won’t be returning. I’ve had poor customer service both times now from (based off what I can tell from other reviews here) Steven the manager?First, I was taken care of by a wonderful associate. She brought out a couple of pairs and had things to say about both. I didn’t get her name because other customers came in when it was time for me to check out. But she said the pair I wanted would be at the counter.After trying on two pairs of shoes, TRYING TO BE HELPFUL, I brought the other pair I wasn’t buying to the counter to help out.And Steven? (Whoever the male was working on Thursday, May 23) was at the counter ringing me up. And you would have thought I caused him the biggest inconvenience of his life by bringing the other pair of shoes to the counter. His reaction was “why are you bringing these up?” I said just to help out. And his response was to roll his eyes and “okay”.I told him I can go put them back on the floor. And he said that he was just confused why I was bringing them up.Confused or not. Treat your customers better please. The last time I was here back in October, I’m pretty sure I worked with him too (same build and features) and I left feeling the same way I do now. The great help I had with the original associate for like 10 minutes will now be tainted by this poor interaction I had in less than 1 minute at the counter with Steven. And it’s enough for me to come on here and leave this review, which I never do.Again, great store. But don’t expect to be treated with even the slightest bit of respect by some employees if you try to be helpful. Maybe some of the other locations offer better customer service? Or just stick to ordering online.

Chad helped us today and made my experience super easy! I came in asking for advice about flat feet and he worked with me to find the most supportive and comfortable pair. Super helpful and awesome experience!

I came in here basically convinced my training season was over due to injury but hoped someone could recommend some gear that might help. The guy who helped me was super thorough and knowledgeable. He walked me through a lot of options and hooked me up with the brace and shoes I needed to get back on track. I couldn't be more appreciative.

What a wonderful experience. I’ve never been happier! Erika knows her running shoes and suggests what may work best for you. She was spot on and my feet haven’t been this comfortable in a VERY long time. Such a kind and professional staff!

Best spot to get properly fitted for running shoes! Jennifer was great help in choosing a good pair, super patient with getting my size right and informative about the particularities of my feet. I could tell she really knew her stuff and would recommend anyone go here when they're on the market for new shoes

Great place for the place to hold a packet p pickup for the Potomac River Marathon. They helped their customers, Health and Safety Foundation, and me, the Running Servant, too.

Everybody at Pacers in Clarendon made me feel comfortable as I explained my situation, and were incredibly helpful in helping me find not one but two pairs of walking/running shoes. Olivia in particular was patient as I tried on many pairs and helped explain the benefits of each shoe. She was knowledgeable in both the products and the health benefits of each item. Would highly recommend this location!

Terrible customer service. And never anything in stock.After speaking with Steven (Manager) on the phone at your Arlington location he informed me that he had a pair of Nike Pegasus sneakers in a size 12 in black available for me to pick up. I gave him my name to put the shoes on hold for me. He confirmed and then I proceeded over.Upon my arrival to pick up the shoes I was informed they in fact were not available. Not only that but the staff was in complete chaos, no one knew where the shoes were and it was hard to even get help. Steven the manger then informed me he asked a coworker to pull the shoe and did not actually confirm the shoe availability like he told me on the phone.You can imagine my frustration with having to drive over to this location from Maryland to only be told they were not available. Steven didn’t find this to be an issue and blamed it on it being busy in the store and that he can’t go back in time and change anything (his words). He didn’t even offer to fix the problem by finding a shoe at another location. Terrible manager and clearly isn’t capable of handling the position or managing employees when the store is “busy”.

The customer service I received at the Arlington location was hands down some of the best service I’ve ever received, the workers were attentive, informative, and very accommodating. They measured the length and arches of our feet and in the end we walked out with a new pair of shoes that had great fit and support for our specific foot type.10/10 would recommend
