I had such a pleasant experience here last night. My boyfriend and I are new to the area, so we decided to check out this place since it wasn’t expensive and liked the items on the menu. Our waiter was very nice and the owner was very attentive to make sure we enjoyed our experience. I got the squid ink pasta, my mom is on a specialty diet and got the salmon, and my dad got the Bolognese. For dessert we got tiramisu. We highly recommend this place for the food, ambiance, and family like atmosphere.

Been here twice while in town, both times service and food has been great. Owner is very friendly and it's all over the place helping out wherever he can. Will definitely return!

Another delightful evening with Nino. The food was marvelous (don't miss the beet salad and try the lasagna special if offered!) and the personal touch that Nino brings to customer service is priceless.

We had a wonderful experience at Osteria da Nino. Initially put at a table with music speakers nearby, we asked to be moved. (One of the people in our party has hearing difficulties.) The staff was VERY accommodating and moved us to a very quiet and secluded table and they turned down the music a notch or 2. Each of us ordered one of the specials, and they did not disappoint! Each was delicious. Our wait staff, Carlos, gave us lots of time to order and never rushed us. We were given just the right amount of attention! A thoroughly enjoyable evening in all ways.

Family friendly! The staff was wonderful and treated us like their family. Food was excellent too. The oysters, the spaghetti, and the wine were all very good. We will definitely be going back.

We visited for valentines day! I loved the fresh bread with the delicious pesto. I could have eaten that for dinner and been so happy. The stars were: the wine from Italy, the pistachio dessert and their short ribs, they were so succulent and tasty!! The calamari was a little overcooked. Loved that the owner was very friendly and kind and was checking on all the patrons. Beautiful establishment with authentic Italian dishes! Thank you!

EXCELLENT!! My wife had the bronzini fish, and I had the black ink spaghetti with seafood in a white cream sauce. The red wine by the glass was chianti from Tuscany. Very good.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten-free options.

Service from hostess, waitstaff, bartender and cooks-exceptional. The owner was very friendly and personable as well. It's been a long time reviving service on this level-well done. First time dining and left very satisfied.

We dine at Osteria da Nino to enjoy our favorite dishes (tuna tartare, pasta with Italian sausage, branzino AND the almond olive oil cake) and we often find ourselves tempted by the many special entrees. Owner/host Nino is always personable and welcoming. It's no surprise that the bar seating during Happy Hour is always full!

Took my wife here for her birthday, along with the whole family. Six of us in total. I dropped off the other 5 while I went to park in the garage behind. Free parking might have been the highlight of the evening. I walked in and found the table, and my wife told me off the bat "they said they only have three people working tonight, so please be patient." There was water at the table when I walked in. We looked at the menu for 15 minutes until someone came back. We ordered 3 appetizers/starters, and waited 25 minutes for garlic bread, calamari, and a cheese board. They doubled the bread and didn't bring the calamari. Fine. So now 40 minutes, and just apps, and no one touched drinks. No refills of water or soda, and the wine bottle we just poured ourselves. They finally ordered entrees, and waited about 40 minutes for those. It's Italian food. My wife's Osso Buco was so bad she ate about 3 bites. My pasta was meh-minus. I'm not even asking anyone else. I get the limited servers, but they let the place fill up around us. They don't have anyone they can call? The service got worse as we waited about 45 minutes for anyone to get over to us to see how we were doing. At least they finally refilled drinks. I only had to ask twice. When decided to get dessert there, because it was so late, every other place was closing (we started at 6:30). When we asked for a dessert menu, there was a long sigh from the server. It took a while. We all spent more time on our phones than eating. No food was better than just ok, and the service seemed like they wanted to be doing anything else. I was completely embarrassed that this was the spot I chose. It was a Tuesday, not some busy weekend night. We won't be going back.

The food here is so good and so creative. The eggplant Parmigiano, for example, is rich and creamy and presented as if it were a torte. The restaurant does a lot of free wine tastings to get people in the door, but the locals looking for a freebie make a mistake by not staying for a great

My friends and I arrived at this establishment for a delightful dinner, as it had been recommended to us by acquaintances. The owner, who warmly received us and escorted us to our designated table, exhibited great kindness and hospitality. However, our server did not mirror this demeanor. She neglected to introduce herself when initially approaching our table, and we only discovered her name, Sandra, upon perusing the bill. During her initial interaction with us, she inquired about our complete order before even taking our beverage preferences, creating an atmosphere of haste and unease throughout our dining experience, she did not ask if we needed help with anything and we felt unwelcome.

Three of us went to dinner last night. One,a learning disabled adult, ran in first and asked where the bathroom was. The hostess was surly and told him he couldn't use the bathroom. Until I told her we had a reservation. I also asked if it was okay if I had parked in the alley. Instead just saying no, I'm sorry , but that's not a good idea, she basically berated me for parking where staff park (though the street was not signposted). We were also told we'd have to wait 10-15 min past our reservation time. Actually, they seated us in 5 min. Things looked up after that. The table was quiet and the waitstaff attentive. Food was excellent and large portions. This would be a 5 star review except for the woman at the hostess podium. I gave her a second chance, saying goodbye and thank you as we left. I guess I didn't even merit a smile.

Food was excellent and came pretty fast considering there was ONE person waiting tables. I did not catch his name but he was extremely busy the entire night and managed to keep all customers happy. The ambiance of the place was pleasant and the noise level was normal for a place that size. I would recommend Osteria da Nino to my friends and I would have a repeat visit myself.
