I LOVE this place. The proprietor is friendly, can make helpful suggestions, and tests the quality of the toys. He only stocks games and toys that meet his standards. They also have a good selection of games for a variety of ages, including cooperative games, and their recommendations were spot on.In the weeks leading up to Christmas they're open everyday, generally at least until 7 (later if there are customers) and you can request an appointment.

His knowledge is encyclopedic, and he seems to have an uncanny ability to recommend the perfect toy for any child. It's not just a store; it's an experience curated by someone who genuinely cares about the joy toys bring to children.One Two Kangaroo has become a staple in the community, and for me, there's no other toy store that even comes close. I needed a cute but useful gift for an adult friend to hide a hand injury. I decided upon a hand puppet and called One Two Kangaroo Toys. They had a lot of options, including puppets to fit adult sized hands. Charlie helped me find the perfect one and then wrapped it for me in adorable paper and ribbon, free of charge. So, the store is pretty perfect, even for grown kids. (The friend loved the puppet, named it, and put it to use immediately.) Thanks Charlie!

Great little shop filled to the brim with board and card games, toys, train sets and puzzles.The owner is knowledgeable and friendly.Please support small businesses, Amazon and Walmart don't need anymore ???.

Edit to add on 11/25/22- this store is still amazing and special. It’s a must visit, and Charlie is full of knowledge for suggestions for kids gifts!Although it's a tiny store it's packed full of great gifts. I've price checked a few things I'm interested in and they don't overcharge for anything that I have liked. Lots of great wooden toys and unique gifts for birthdays when you don't know what a child already has. I love shopping here for birthday parties, and my daughter!

Best independent toy store in the area (also been around for quite awhile). They have the best of hands-on toys, STEAM, puzzles, books, puppets, etc. It's a tight squeeze sometimes, but there's always something good to find.

I recently shopped for the first time at this store based on the reviews I read. I was delighted with the store, the selection, and staff. The owner's sister Susan was working and she helped me select multiple gifts and then kindly wrapped them. I will certainly return As this place rocks.
