I am disabled and high risk for covid in this ongoing pandemic, and the staff at Nova were very accommodating. Everyone was willing to wear a mask (including KN-95s). Thank you for the accommodations!Great vet care. Thank you Dr. Donnelly and team.

So worth it to find a cat-exclusive vet! Everyone here is so incredible to my senior kitty. When she went through I131 treatment for her hyperthyroidism, they sent me daily updates on her, including the sweetest updates about their daily interactions with her. Highly recommend!!

A great experience with the doctor and the staff. Just note that they are still very COVID conscious, and they require that you call from the parking lot before they will let you in.

We took our senior cat here for a check up and dental cleaning/ surgery because we were concerned about her front canines. They did a thorough check up and blood work to determine she was healthy enough for anesthesia. I loved that they allowed us to go in the check-up room with our cat, and they were extremely caring, friendly, and knowledgeable. Our kitty ended up having to get 11 teeth pulled and now she is happier than ever. We are so pleased with our experience with Nova Cat Clinic and very grateful for their care of our kitty!

We had a great experience at NOVA Cat Clinic when we lived nearby. Very nice, friendly folks who were very easy to talk to about my cats' issues. Thank you again, and we will miss you!

What an excellent choice for entrusting your beloved cat's health! Our experience at Nova Cat Clinic has been truly exceptional. They have consistently treated our cats with the utmost care, affection, and respect. As vigilant cat parents, we greatly appreciate how swiftly they address any concerns or issues that arise. The staff is not only friendly but also incredibly gentle, and their pricing is notably reasonable. I cannot emphasize enough how highly I recommend Nova Cat Clinic. The only wish I have is that they had branches in other cities to accommodate us when we relocate.

Great clinic. They were more than compassionate with a terminally ill 4 year old cat and since I have adopted 3 of their foster cats , all of which they have taken care extraordinary care of. They are knowledgeable and have a tremendous love for felines. Highly recommend for all levels of care

Horrible communication. People don't respond to emails, don't pick up the phone. When they do decide to get off their butts to respond, they blame potential clients for the lack of communication, claim the they contacted you multiple times, left messages, etc and will go so far as to tell you to go to another clinic! Clearly they don't want or need the business. Will gladly be contacting my hospital to take care of my cat's needs.

They took good care of my pet, but the services they charged were absolutely ridiculous for what I'm paying now elsewhere. Brought my kitten in for a checkup and there wasn't even a vet there to take a look at her. If I wanted someone to take a look, I had to schedule an additional appointment.

I saw this place biking by one day, and thought it was cool. Then I found myself with a rescue cat (the homie Shrimp) and was like, “well I guess I’ll take him to that place I saw.”And what a great decision! Everyone here is super friendly (and also loves my little shrimp) and made it really easy to be a new pet owner. Every doc I’ve met is super kind and so clearly a cat lover! I love coming here and shrimp is getting used to it too. If you have a cat, this is the place to take them!

They have a great focus on cats. There are no other types of animals to cause your cat stress in the office. The team is extremely health conscious, so they provide curb side service until you are ready to go back to an exam room. As soon as we got back to the exam room I was able to let my cat out of his carrier to explore the room before anyone came in. I think all of this combined to make this the least stressful vet visit any of my pets have ever had.Dr. Torres was also extremely helpful and alleviated all of the concerns I had about my cat's health.

I've been with NOVA Cat Clinic since 2008, when I moved to Arlington, from Arizona. I bought both of my babies, TC and Brittany, and received nothing but excellent care from them. I lost TC in 2012 and Brittany in 2022, but now I bring my new babies, Oscar and Albus, to them even though I now live in Alexandria and another cat clinic is close by. The love and care we get from NOVA Cat Clinic is second to none!

Had our first visit yesterday, and we were very pleased. Super helpful and kind staff, very competent doctor who had a lot of patience with my kitty, and was available for answering any questions I had. They are also very responsive to emails and phone calls, and have a good communication system in place. It's not cheap, but worth it for my fur babies.

Five stars for the veterinarians, zero for the staff. The staff have hampered access to care on several occasions, the most recent of which is detailed below. My two cats see Dr. Bazemore, who is great with them. They are due for a visit in October, so I was surprised when I got a notification from Chewy that the cat food was shipped for only one cat because the other prescription was cancelled. The reason: she needed to be seen by the vet. I called the Nova cat clinic to find out what was going on. I was told that yes, Chewy contacted them and they denied the prescription, and because Dr.Bazemore was not in they would put a note in her box asking about the food. I was not given any time frame for when she would return. The prescription food for this cat prevents the formation of crystals in the urine that will create a blockage, so the cat will die from a ruptured bladder if she eats other food. I asked if I could speak with someone else. The response was "no, have a nice day" click Dr. Bazemore called that afternoon when I was in a meeting and explained via voicemail that the other cat's prescription was good through next April. It was clear she wasn't sure why I had called. The staff member had left her a note, but she asked about the wrong cat. I called again and got the same woman who again told me she would put a note in Dr. Bazemore's box. Not trusting her to select the correct cat, I sent both an email and a note on the web form asking for help with the prescription. The next morning, after hearing nothing from NCC, I began calling other vet offices to ask if I could buy the food from them if I brought them my cat's records. A little before noon that second day I heard from the office manager, William, who was not trying to reach me, but was returning a call my husband had made the previous morning. He got my information about what had happened then called back to explain to me that the prescription was through my previous vet, and it was they who declined it. All I had to do was order the food, put in the cat's name and Nova Cat Clinic, and the food would be sent. During the call he interrupted me when I was speaking, and, despite initially assuring me we would discuss the problems I had with the other staff member, he ended the conversation abruptly without doing so. I felt certain I had ordered this cat's food under NCC in the past, so instead of going online, I called Chewy to make sure the order was input correctly. During that conversation I was told they do, in fact, have outstanding prescription requests with Nova Cat Clinic for this cat, and the food could have been sent with this order had any of them been approved. I left another message at NCC for a call back so I could ask for a paper prescription to upload myself. That call was not returned. Friday night, the end of day three, I received a notice from Chewy that the food had been shipped. It is difficult to post a negative review of people who have control over vital prescriptions because of a genuine concern of retaliation that will lead to the harm of my pets. I recognize, however, that this worry is symptomatic of the larger problem I find myself facing. I feel that my cats have received very good care from the veterinarians at Nova Cat Clinic, but I have no confidence in either the ability or the integrity of the office staff. What a stressful, exhausting mess.
