Nancy was recommend to us through a colleague and wow we are forever in debt to them for connecting us to Nancy. Nancy is extremely knowledgeable and always had our best interests in heart. From our first home tour to our last, Nancy was always on the lookout for red flags and things we didn’t even know to look for. Nancy was always available for tours and made time for us amidst our schedules. When we were ready to put in offers, Nancy walked us through all the process and kept us updated on all proceedings and words from sellers. The word we’ve used to describe Nancy during the offer and then closing process is that she’s a “shark”. She will attack and fight for her clients. She refuses to let her clients get cheated or left worse off. When we closed, we knew we were in not only a good home, but also a good position to start our lives in the house because all Nancy had fought for us. We have and will continue to recommend Nancy to anyone and everyone starting their home buying journey, she’s simply the best. Thanks for all you do!

Nancy was a great realtor that helped me all along the way in the hunt for my first home. She laid out what I could expect for the whole process from end to end in our first meeting and was very low pressure all throughout. She was a great resource as we viewed many different homes and she let me know what things to look out for in the homes as we toured and also reviewed online listings. Nancy was able to quickly answer any questions I had by reaching out to the appropriate parties after seeing a home so I could make an informed decision. She was available and flexible to see homes, even on short notice, and was exactly what I was looking for and more from a realtor. She was professional, knowledgable, and a consumate housing expert. Without her, I would not have been able to find my first home and had such a smooth process from beginning to end. She aided me in the offer process and from offer acceptance to closing, it was only 17 days which allowed me to get into my new home and set up so quickly! I was very pleased to work with her and would highly recommend her for anyone with their personal real estate needs!

Great experience. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. In fact she was extremely transparent and quick to learn what we wanted in a house saving us time. Her style from a buyer's standpoint was not pushy and focused on customer service. She just wanted us informed. She has a good teamwork approach. We were lucky to work with Nancy.

There are no words to express how my husband and I were lucky to get connected with Nancy Heisel when we were looking for a realtor to sell our house in VA. We were concerned that our house would be difficult to sell considering the situation with real estate market. However, Nancy did everything possible to take the pressure off of us. She made the entire process as easy for us as possible and took thousands of extra steps that I do not even think are within realtor’ scope of responsibilities to make sure everything is taking care of. From our first meeting with Nancy, we knew we were in good hands! She spent literally hours answering our questions, providing objective data regarding real estate market in the area, what to expect, etc. From the day one and throughout the entire process Nancy was always available to provide us with the information that we needed, she explained every single document we singed, every step in the process answering million “why, how, when, what”. She literally took care of everything starting with bringing an amazing photographer, staging our home (yes, she did it for us by herself; she even brought her own items for staging as our house was almost empty by the time we put it on market), and taking care of all unpredictable situations. She also led us through multiple rounds of negotiation to get to a price we were comfortable with.Nancy was professional, courteous, patient, and extremely knowledgeable! There were few concerning situations (from the buyer’s side), and Nancy’s solution making skills and attitude made the final deal smooth and comfortable. To say we were impressed with the way how she handled these situations is say nothing! She was EXCEPTIONAL!On the top of being exceptionally good at her job, Nancy is also incredibly personable. My husband and I felt that we had a very good friend by our side.After looking back at the entire process from the beginning to the end, the negotiations, home inspections, helping communicate to title company and many more tasks that Nancy took care for us, we realize what it means to have a great realtor who is not only exceptional professional, but also amazing human being. Who is not only doing her job but also cares about her clients on personal level! We would have NEVER gone this without Nancy! We truly considered ourselves blessed to have her as our realtor. Nancy helped me to sell 2 properties in Northern Virginia. She was an angel during a difficult time where I was settling the estates of my mother and my brother at the same time. Both properties needed quite a bit of work and with me living across the country she would need to manage all of it for me. With her guidance, she helped me clear both properties out, recommend and line up the necessary updates, get both properties staged and on the market, sold and closed within 4 months of meeting her for the first time. Nancy did it again! This is the fourth time we've worked with Nancy. Each time, she's been our staunch advocate both as buyers and as sellers. She's honest, practical, and straightforward. She doesn't play games. We LOVE that about her.This time she patiently helped us find our forever house. She knows her stuff and made sure the contract was honored. Working with Nancy was wonderful! Being a first time home buyer we had a lot of questions and not only did she get them answered quickly, but she made us feel comfortable throughout the process. We initially started our search in Northern Virginia and then spontaneously decided to look in DC only. Nancy was quick on her feet and flexible to our needs. Nancy was wonderful to work with. I never felt pressured or rushed when I was looking at homes, and she took care to explain every step of the home-buying process. With her help, I secured the home I really wanted. She gave me great advice when I was making the offer. She had a good understanding of the situation/market and was the voice of reason when I was filled with anxiety over what to do. Throughout the buying process, Nancy was responsive and proactive. Nancy was an absolute pleasure to work with! My Fiancé and I knew next to nothing about buying a home but she made the process so much easier. Before we toured anything she walked us through all of the details and gave us a very thorough idea of what to expect. When we were actually looking she never pushed us into anything but would point things out that we would’ve never noticed. She was so patient and I believe we toured about 20 homes before finding ours. We couldn’t be happier now with our new home and we really owe it all to Nancy.

Nancy is an amazing realtor who goes above and beyond. We have sold two houses with Nancy and she made each experience effortless for us while ensuring we received the best price possible. She was honest, respectful, and knowledgeable. She was responsive to all of our calls and questions. Nancy does an amazing amount of work (staging, brochures, open house) before the listing goes on live. We sold both our houses in less than a week.
