Madabolic is the best gym out there! I like the strength based workout, as well as the different intervals. The trainers are approachable and accommodating when I need modifications. I have seen and felt the improvement in my overall endurance and strength over the last few months.

I’m having the best workout I ever had. Trainers are very helpful, they watch every move you do and correct if needed.I wanted to get stronger and lift heavier weights and feel like my wish is coming true I since joined MADabolicDefinitely recommend this great place with great people!

I love MAD, I just renewed my membership for my second year after being here for over a year. I would still consider myself to be a beginner but no one here has ever made me feel bad about it. And the coaches are so endearing they remember your name and treat you like their best friend.

If I could give MADabolic even more stars, I absolutely would. Today was my 320th class at MAD so I have done my fair share of workouts while at MAD, so believe me when I say it is hands down the best gym in the DMV area. MAD features a strength-based interval training program which focuses on building strength, muscular endurance, and anaerobic capacity. This differs from many of the other group fitness studios in the DMV area who may focus on high-interval intensity training or other training methods. MAD's programming is also intentionally crafted by the founders of the company and is strategically built unlike other gyms which may use algorithms or random workout generation methods. On top of that, MAD is truly a family / group of friends which makes every class so fun. I have been going to the same class during the weekdays for almost 2-years and have a group of friends that pushes me, holds me accountable, and that jokes around during each class. Overall, I believe MAD is one of the best investments you can make in health.

I have tried a variety of gyms from big box, crossfit, pilates, barre, and almost all the boutique types and MADabolic is hands down the best one I have found. While at other gyms I would plateau quickly or get injured due to improper form. At MADabolic I have increased my strength in all areas and continue to see sustainable results. The trainers at the gym actually train you and continuously watch everyone's form to make sure you are doing the workout in a safe manner.Lastly, while the workout and environment from online can seem intimidating, I have found the community to be very welcoming and the workouts can be scaled to meet you where you are in your fitness journey!

I’ve been going to MAD for a year and a half and I’ve never felt stronger. I have seen noticeable differences in my body and also, I feel so much stronger in my yoga practice, as well!

I’ve been going to Madabolic for 6 mo now. I highly recommend it! I was scared to try after having two back to back kids because it looked intimidating to jump into. It’s the best decision I’ve ever made! There’s a different weight category and it’s for all levels. I’m stronger than I’ve ever been and I’ve already moved up to the next plate category. The instructors are super friendly and watch your form like a hawk. They are fun and engaging and play fun hip hop. It’s a great total body workout for those who don’t like to just lift by yourself (that can get boring and mundane). Every day is a different workout and everyday is a challenge. I love that there’s a 5:30 am class so you can go before work. Highly recommended!

I love MAD!! Alexandria location is perfect, the coaches are awesome, and the workouts are the right amount of hard without being torture. The coaching staff don’t scream or yell to push you on. They give gentle encouragement and help everyone at the level they are at. I always feel safety is priority with the focus on form and the coaching staff giving quiet corrections so no one feels called out. I see newbies walk in looking nervous and they are quickly welcomed and made to feel at ease by the team and the community. Highly recommend!!

I have been going to MADabolic Arlington just over a month and it has been fantastic. I joined the first day of my first class during the preview 5 days, I just knew this was the kind of workout and community I was looking for. The coaches and staff are so great, and they are so open to you modifying any exercise that doesn’t feel right. I truly feel like I’ve found my people and I would encourage anyone to try it.

My fiancé and I just started going to MAD in January and we can’t get enough! The workout strikes the perfect balance of strength training and cardio (and my personal favorite boxing) to help lead to tangible results. We feel stronger every class and notice a difference in our stamina! The best part though are the coaches who are friendly, welcoming and so encouraging. Highly recommend!!

This feels like a personal training experience within the context of a group fitness class. The instructors are super nice, and I love how they corrected my form when needed. I've always been intimidated by strength workouts, but this made it feel accessible and safe.

I really like the format. Every class is different. While each class has five stages, you do different exercises each time. I think it took me two months (going 4-5 times / week) before I saw a repeat. So, it gives you a full-body workout. Oh, and the instructors are awesome too. Fun people and they really help you along.
