The two ladies there were on their phones, personal conversations about someone getting blocked. I asked the one at the counter about trying a product on. She pointed to the applicators and insisted I clean it before applying. That's fine but isn't that what she's supposed to do? Assist. The other girl who got blocked was just sitting there and didn't say a word to me. Then they go on and say how slow the store was meanwhile they don't assist or engage with me while I am in there. So why complain?! l wasn't surprised while reading others reviews.

I had an incredible experience with Shannon at MAC. As someone who knew nothing about makeup, I was nervous, but Shannon was amazing! She didn’t just apply the makeup—she took the time to teach me how to do it myself, sharing tips and techniques that were easy to follow. Her knowledge is impressive, and her passion for what she does really shines through. The individual customer service she provided was top-notch. I left feeling confident and excited to try out what I learned. Highly recommend Shannon for anyone looking for a personalized and educational makeup experience.

Yesterday, I visited the Pentagon City store and Desiree greeted me upon entry, assisted me with selecting the right items, and quickly applied eye shadow up request. Thanks for the great customer service.

Desiree, Ronnie and the manager purposely ignored me at Pentagon City. There was one black female who was very kind and professional but the manager and the others are nasty. This has been my first experience as a customer where I was blatantly being ignored. I even asked for services to the manager and expressed my complaint to the manager and she literally ignored me and didn’t acknowledge me both times. I waited and waited on assistance but to no avail. Yes, they knew I needed assistance and both Desiree and the manger were told but they still ignored me and acted as if I weren’t there. I took a photo of the mean girls. I only gave it two stars because of the one kind worker who shouldn’t be surrounded with such nasty people.

Always out of product. Make up services you have to buy 5 products, that day of appt...but if you are out, then what? And why do I need to buy when I have the Mac products? I just need you to apply? Charge for the "apply" services.

Probably the worst customer service that anybody could receive in any of the cosmetic stores I truthfully do not believe there’s anybody worse than that specific store at the Pentagon mall. Mac do yourself a huge favor and replace your current staff with a more welcome friendlier and approachable staff. Mac start viewing your store cameras and seek to it that your staff actually helps customers and speaks to them and not gather around the register and have tee time.

They were ok and helped me find good colors. I did a trial and the artist applied good colors but she gave me the wrong color lipstick to purchase after I tried 3 different colors. I mean the color I purchased was not one of the ones I tried. Expensive error on her part. 40 bucks down the drain. I might seem spoiled for trying on makeup but I don't buy makeup much and it was for an event so I hope she didn't ring up the wrong color on purpose.

Visited to update my foundation and wasn't sure what to expect given the COVID-19 restrictions. Brandon provided excellent service because he took the time to listen to my needs and tried various shades of foundations on my hand so I could keep my mask on. He added a bonus product for me to try and another staff person recommended a fantastic lipstick too! Thanks for the great experience and sorry if I got your gender pronouns incorrectly!
