My kids love this park with it's more modern type playgrounds. When it's warm there are little mist stations. This park is in the middle of all the different modes of transportation. Watch planes coming and going with train tracks and the highway on the other side. Plus a view of the Potomac River. There are fields and a sports complex too! Great Park!

The walk by the rail track while planes fly overhead is memorable. Didn't know this place had historical significance too.

Great park overlooking train tracks and DCA airport. Several fields for soccer and lacrosse. Good sized parking lot, or can walk from crystal city, pentagon city or the mt. Vernon trail. Bathrooms by the large field.

Probably one of the best kept secrets in arlington. Fantastic aquatic center. Really nice because there's an entirely separate olympic size lap pool and children's pool play area. And what a children's pool play area it is. I can see why there are so many families and so many children that use this facility. As a kid I would have loved it and it would have been affordable for my parents. There is a gym upstairs that is quite large, all of the equipment is very new and it is clean and nice. So far the staff have been kind and responsive. The only downside I can give you has to do with the women's Locker rooms. I did not experience it firsthand obviously but I'm told there are lots of children in there getting changed with their moms and many awkward glances between young boys and women getting undressed. I'm not sure how one addresses that.

Beautiful park, sports complex. I'm from New Jersey, me and my wife took a ride down to watch our daughters college soccer game. It's like a park and a mini sports complex wrapped into one. Soccer fields, walkways, and running path. Decorated with nice landscape, very well maintained complex. Oh and there is parking on site.

The playground is broken up into three parts and each part is separated with bushes. There are benches at each section for parents. The bathrooms were very close to the playground and were clean. My boys were 11, 6 and enjoyed it. If we lived here, we would return.Playground: The playground is 3 smaller playgrounds separated but close to each other. One is climbing structures, one looks like a splash pad but was not running in October, and one had a slide and tunnels.Restrooms: Restrooms were very close, clean, and well stocked.Dog-friendliness: There was a sign stating no dogs in the playground area.
