My dog needs to take a very high dosage of a controlled substance daily. The pharmacist has been incredibly helpful in navigating the complicated process of refills that involves working closely with the vet to meet all regulatory requirements. I cannot say enough good things about him!

I came here earlier today to fill a prescription for amoxicillin which is an anti-bacterial !education that I always need whenever I travel to Mexico. It's the air pollution that affects me. This pharmacy seemed to be more efficient than the actual drug store pharmacy that I usually deal with. There were no customers waiting for their prescriptions which also helped speed up the process I think. I came here and literally waited less than 60 seconds. I also picked-up some shampoo and conditioner that was located nearby. I wouldn't mind changing my current pharmacy to this location, because I feel that they are more efficient and attentive here.

Not too crowded and knowledgeable pharmacist. Lunch is at 1 to 2 so if you need to speak with pharmacist go before or after this but you can still pick up or drop off

Chronically understaffed and HT branded products spoil very quickly - milk is often turning sour and clumpy way before the expiry date. They're investing in a large new building in Ballston but I'd honestly rather have them invest in higher quality produce - I stopped buying oranges because every single one was spoiled or over ripe.

The reasons I shop at Harris Teeter is because of their meat selections and sometimes produce. However, it's really a chore to go there now. Some of the staff is so rude. It's really disheartening. Their prices are high and with that you also have to deal with an attitude.

This happens to be one of those go to places where they've simply got it together. Seafood department saved our holiday party as the Wegmans party platter we ordered was not acceptable and these guys had a same day order for us ready in a flash even with a potential miscommunication on our end. While waiting for it to be ready the shopping experience was also great. Several times we found ourselves looking for items and at every turn there was another helpful staff member ready to direct us. Between the super fresh seafood and largest jumbo shrimp we've seen in a while and the $5 special for 10 avocados we were very pleased the quality of the food and the experience there. Years ago during our last visit here it looked like it could use a serious remodel and it looks like that task has been slayed as well. Windy, cold, or rainy day? Simply slide around the right side of the building and enter through the underground garage that has elevators to take you right up without the need to touch that wet umbrella or rain jacket. Did I mention they also have free Level 2 EV charging? Get juiced up while picking up some juice!! Be careful though as too much sugar could lead to diabesity so don't forget the greens and the cruciferous vegetables while you're lured to the bakery upon entrance.

I have been a Harris Teeter ExpressLane shopper at this location for more than a year. The staff and service at this location have made me a permanent convert to curbside pickup. Why? Because the experience here is so much easier and more consistent than the online/curbside experience at Safeway, Giant, Whole Foods, or Instacart. The HT website is the best in this class, with a generally accurate search function, accurate photos, accurate prices, accurate sale price information, the ability to leave detailed requests and instructions, and plenty of available pickup times. The staff always calls before finalizing an order, and is always flexible and friendly about adjustments or special requests. The pickup area is sheltered under cover from bad weather, and the staff down there is always pleasant. So why not 5 stars? I docked one star because I've repeatedly had disappointments from the seafood counter. When you order online, you're putting faith in the fish expert to pick out something fresh -- not to dump the rotting dregs on the customer who's not there to pick out his own fish. Sometimes what I get is amazing and beautiful, but every few weeks I get something that should have been thrown out rather than sold. I can always request a refund, and I do, and they are good about it, but you know what would be better? Throwing it out when it's questionable and only selling fresh seafood.

This Harris Teeter is very impressive in regard to cleanliness, options and the hot bar. Yes, the hot bar at this location is open. My only wish is that the Harris Teeters near my home would follow this practice and start offering their hot bar again. Either way, if you have a VIC card the prices at Harris Teeter are extremely compatible. Plus you get points for discounted gas.

Usually do pick up orders for this location & everything is usually fine. However, employees are always slamming the shit outta car doors/ trunks after putting the groceries in the bag! I do not appreciate that.

Today, in the midst of the pandemic, half the staff, including cashiers, wore their masks with their entire nose exposed. This behavior makes the masks useless. When I went to the service desk to complain, the manager was not wearing a mask at all. She explained that she was in her little desk bubble so it was OK. NOT! She said she would be going around in a while to check on the staff. I won't be shopping in person at Harris Teeter as long as the virus continues its threat.

Harris teeter is chronically understaffed. Even at 7am, there's one checkout person & 5 people in line on a Saturday morning.
