If you spend a fortune on dried beans from Rancho Gordo, try the black or small red beans from Glebe Market. Freshest beans I’ve every cooked. Also excellent produce and herbs, and they usually have pork belly

I used to purchase my cartons of cigarettes from here they had some of the best prices around not sure if they still carry cartons but at the time prices were unbeatable. I see people complaining about their meats and other foods lol, remember, "You get what you pay for". Anyway I run a cigar/smoke shop and we don't sell cartons so I refer hundreds of people to come here for Cigarettes and never heard bad feedback.

I purchased a prepackaged meat that was a little over 3 lbs. I divided the package out to freeze in 1 lb freezer bags. I had around 2.3 lbs total. I came back to the store and spoke to the manager just now. He was quite dismissive. I felt unwelcomed and not valued as a customer. This is our neighborhood store (buckingham/Lyon park) but today, I want a lidl, Aldi or Trader Joe's there instead. I didn't mind paying a little extra because they are a neighborhood store and have supported them during the $8 dollar milk (lactose free) and $5 for a dozen eggs because I believed I was supporting them, their employees, and our community. Today I learned, they do not see me as part of the community. I felt like an other. It sucked and I was not prepared for it. I won't be patronizing them anymore. I hope Arlington modernizes the area. Quickly.
