Bought an upgraded premium flower package along with a large chocolate box from them for valentines day for my wife and got the smallest bouquet ever and a box with 12 chocolates.I wanted to support local business but should have just gone with 1800flowers

Very nice florist the man I talked to was very helpful they tried to make a delivery but the person was not at the office so they brought the flowers back and redelivered them at no charge this is good business

I wish I had looked at the reviews before buying. I had to send flowers to 3 different ppl & prefer to use local florists. All the other florists confirmed my order immediately via email. Hmmm. No confirmation from GCF for hours! So I (naively) re-ordered. Later (hours later!), I received a confirmation for the first order. Then, a confirmation for the second order. YIKES. I emailed ASAP and warned them of my error (last night). I called this AM to explain the problem---but nothing could be done. Really? Frankly, I don't know how the flowers look because the recipient didn't send photos, but I find that I am not able to recommend this (my local!) florist for the service they provided. And they aren't cheap!

Flowers were delivered late afternoon 10/11. By morning 10/12 the water was cloudy, the roses had dropped and the lilies were simply dead. I took the flowers out of the vase the majority of the dead ones were because of broken stems. This was a gift via teleflora, they should reconsider their arrangements

Garden city florists doesn't exist. it's a scam . they will drop off some cheap flowers at the delivery address you gave them . take a picture and run . the site is fake . the address of the store is a apartment building. the billing is from Ottawa Ontario. the whole thing is a scam . don't buy from them . even the facebook page isint there stuff. Had to cancel credit card . They even sent text messages to the person the flowers where going to saying they had a gift from instacart. Another scam . The police need to be involved

Avoid this florist!!! I received an arrangement from Garden City Florist and the flowers were very, very poor quality. I called and company and they were unresponsive to me. I called the sender of the flowers, and they then called the company and pitched a fit. The owner said that they would replace the arrangement but that I needed to be home for the exchange of the arrangements. I was home for the exchange and the second arrangement was smaller and not much better quality. Again, avoid this florist!!

When I had a heart attack, my family sent me flowers. They happened to come from Garden City Florist. These flowers were pitiful. Dry and drooping, so wilted that immediately putting them in water didn't help. By the morning all the petals were dropped off and on the table. I called Garden City Florist and they said they would send out another bouquet... which they never did. Would NOT recommend this business at all.

Was just referring a friend to this wonderful local business. My son had a prom to go and also had practice that day. When I called the store to explain that the pick up times could be a challenge they offered to have the corsage delivered to my house (about 2 miles from the store) for a very reasonable fee. The roses were gorgeous and they understood that sometimes the need for flowers comes at a very busy time in our lives. Very grateful they know their stuff. I was a repeat customer already but they made the whole thing seem easy.

Ordered "Florist Delivered Flowers" through FTD.com... the delivered arrangement was more beautiful than advertised--just magnificent! Also, the delivery from Arlington, VA to Bethesda, MD was on time! Bravo to Garden City!
