This is a great location to visit DC using the metro. It's less than a 10 minute walk to the station and the hotel has free parking. The downsides were the rooms were not great for the price, and they no longer do breakfast (false advertising). Staff was friendly.

Staff were friendly. Breakfast options when we stayed were lacking. And the place to get breakfast is downstair. Since there is no elevator that does make it inaccessible. The lady did say the following week after we left there wouldn’t be any breakfast anymore just muffins.
The place was relatively quiet. If you are looking for budget friendly place to sleep while visiting the area then this is the place for you. If you are looking for more amenities then I would recommend looking elsewhere.
Overall hotel was clean and nice.
Rooms: Room was clean. Bathroom was kinda small. It was a nice place to sleep.
Walkability: Could walk to metro station from hotel
Food and drinks: There was a great italian place near by. And they had other good options too.
Noteworthy details: They do not have an elevator.

This is not your typical Econo Lodge. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and as a solo traveling female, I felt safe on the premises. This hotel is perfect if you're just looking for a clean and safe place to stay that's affordable. Room service came in every day which is becoming more rare at hotels and I found no stains or bugs on sheets, towels or any surfaces.
If I had to be critical, the breakfast was okayish. There was a good variety but it wasn't the best tasting food and the bed was a little uncomfortable for me but that could just be because I prefer softer beds.
Overall I would stay here again.

Had a good stay with family. Had joining rooms, and they were clean, pretty decent breakfast. Metro stop is not a bad walk.

Not really pillows... they're stuffed envelopes and not even any extra available. Reservation made for 4 people but the room is prepared for two! A cold water shower day. And the finale… a cockroach in the bathroom. Drainage truck at 8 a.m. to empty the container. The only positive point is the proximity to the metro.

Me and my wife stayed here for 3 days 4th Feb to 7th. It exceed our expectation

We had a very good stay at Econo Lodge Metro - Cozy rooms with good AC, clean and neat, with laundry facility and close to the public transport. Special thanks to Mr. Paresh for super friendly welcoming upon arrival in the middle of the night and Mrs. V Patel for her generosity and kindness. When in Washington DC next, i will be surely staying there again.

This hotel completely ruined my day , I booked with this hotel 2 days in advance for a loved one who drove all the way from Houston to Washington DC just for her to finally check in and be hit with a 150 deposit that was not mentioned in Jen I booked the reservation and kind you the hotel room is only 95 bucks it’s insane to want 150 for a deposit which you will have to wait 7 business days to get back meaning that is cheap motel hotel is 245 dollars and it’s a 2 star hotel !!!! I called the establishment to try to plead my case that my love done will have no where to sleep and already has been sleeping in their car for 2 days and they would not budge not only that there is a no refund policy so I’m just out 100 bucks and my family
Member will have to sleep in their car another night … save ur money and go to red roof inn or a motel 6 it’s the same quality for less , this hotel has lost their mind .

This hotel definitely was way above our expectations, all was clean, the breakfast had more than expected, the location is perfect, the price is better than most other places in Washington Metro Area, the personnel very friendly, the beds comfortable, the bathroom very good, the service complete, the area around is safe. I am already missing the place. Definitely this place worth every single penny. 100% recommended.
Rooms: Rooms were very clean and the housekeepers did a great job.
Safety: The area looks very safe.
Walkability: You can walk on the bike trail if you want to shortcut the way to the Metro.
Food and drinks: The breakfast is excellent, you have sweet and savory options.
