This hotel is so confusing. Getting around it and the two towers it has is kind of tricky. Rooms are nice and they have a great location to look into DC. But moving around it and the parking is kind of abysmal. The inside of it is fine enough and the location is superb!

Big hotel, rooms for kind of dated and old. Gotta catch the right elevator to get upstairs and not get lost. Shows didn't run early enough to take us to the airport and had to Uber. Centeral located and convenient you could walk to most places. 3 to 6 miles Location across from the Pentagon. Very pricey on food, about $25 to 20 dollars, average or more.

As someone who has stayed at this hotel hundreds of nights over the last twenty years, I cannot remain silent about the progressive deterioration of both the quality of the hotel, its amenities, along with the hit or miss customer service.Regarding the building, watch out for a middle elevator on your way to/from the roof top restaurant owing it has multiple issues with opening, closing door and even moving after the door closes. Be careful of faucets in the room that are not secured by the lock nut underneath the bathroom sink. Keep an eye out for raised bricks around the perimeter of the hotel. Finally, be aware of several dated rooms, carpet, walls, bathroom fixtures, patio doors, windows, window treatments, and furniture. On to the staff, expect at best every other member to actually care about the customer, including the airport shuttle drivers and phone operators. While I had one shuttle driver from the initial airport stop when after he saw me out of the corner of his eye still stopped for me even after he had already just left the pickup curb location whereas the driver at the hotel the next day could not explain to me that the shuttle to the pentagon city metro/mall was not reinstated after the COVID depression (a real service downgrade owing the sometimes bone-chilling walk from/to hotel). Then separately, the hotel operator would not let me know the status of the airport driver based on when the driver called back to the hotel to announce they left the hotel or the airport owing my over an hour wait the next day at the airport when I had a second return from the airport. Finally at the hotel, management chose to close the rooftop pool in exchange for more revenue generating space (meeting, guest room or expanded restaurant space) TBD, at least they still have a gym. Then there is the front desk staff who included one individual who said “of course there is no complimentary upgrade for my Honors status, we are sold out” finding out afterwards that there were upgrades available and in fact I was upgraded by someone else later without issue. That same initial front desk person could not explain what to expect with the Hiltons corporate decision to exchanges executive lounges for $15/day food/beverage credit when I asked if that amount would cover any cold breakfast buffet. Getting five oranges/apples at $1 each, along with a protein bar and single bottled drink is what I had to settle for since the restaurant was closed and the shopette staff couldn’t explain what was available the next morning at the restaurant. Nor could the security/concierge who happened to be behind the shopette counter picking up his overstuffed plate of food without any offer of assistance regarding my question. Similarly the hostess at the roof top restaurant forgot to call my room as she promised even after making a reservation about availability before my reservation time if tables became available- which they did become available I was told by the waitstaff. Just as bad when asking about salad addons at that roof top restaurant could not get a straight answer and then ended up the waitress putting in the wrong order. Even worse I only was allocated one glass of water throughout the entire meal. Even after trying restaurant the next night ran into same drink problem - this time asking for hot water which they initially could not find until someone finally offered to microwave a cup. Then the final customer service failure was when calling the front office manager after my stay failing to get thru to anyone in accounting about why a second hold was placed on my credit card after I had already checked out of hotel was told “need to just wait and see”. This same manager happened to be the responder to my Hilton post stay survey with such a generic reply about how management cares about feedback that I felt compelled to write this review to warn others about a more realistic expectation if staying at this hotel.

Overall the stay went really well based on the price ($133 for 2), location, service and the frequency of the shuttle bus (20mins/shuttle).Tidiness: the room was quite clean, that makes me comfortable to stay. I’m pretty sure the room was old, because the wooden door is peeling due to age, but the surface is cleaned, so no problem here.Service: the service is pretty good without too much fake smiles to catering customers. You can drop off your luggages if you arrived before 2pm, and they are good with that.Overall, the stay was good, compared to the hotels that I have stayed across the country.

Rooms were just okay. No microwave (only 1 to share downstairs that was super dirty). The market gentleman and the gentleman at the front desk were extremely nice. Very good staff.Common areas (other than the microwave area) were nice and updated. Parking was simple but lots of people parked like fools. Area surrounding the hotel was a little dirty but it's walkable to the important things.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and I must say it did not meet my expectations at all. The first thing I noticed was hair on the chair, which was quite off-putting. The room's ceiling looked moldy and in a state of disrepair, making me worried that it might fall on my head. Additionally, the outlets in the room were loose, and it was clear that there were poorly executed patch jobs for things that had been broken over the years. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel to others. The hotel had a range of other problems. The furniture in the room was outdated and appeared sun-faded, giving the entire space a tired and uninviting look. The TVs in the room were not up to industry standards.Even the lobby had a dated appearance, with old furnishings that were soiled and decor that made the overall atmosphere feel unappealing. It's clear that this hotel is in need of a major renovation to bring it up to modern standards and provide a more comfortable and pleasant experience for guests.

I'm here for 2 weeks due to official business. It's been a mixed experience though mostly positive. Seth at the front desk checked me in and he was absolutely amazing. Seems like he's always there when I go down.Parking is a bit of a mess. Lots of columns and not clearly marked on where to go, how to get there, etc. Bigger issue is that my key card didn't work when I tried to enter the first time so I hit the help button and it rang for a good 5 minutes. Ended up calling the through the normal landline on my cell phone and the statement from the operator was " I don't think that help button works" with no discussion or intent of them ever trying to fix it. So that's an issue. Eventually got the key card working after going back to the front desk with a ticket in hand. I would say either disable the help button or put more clear instructions at the entry point. And it's like 45 bucks a night (I don't care where you are, that's crazy).Diamond members get a free $15 a day but good luck finding anything that you can purchase for that price, especially when you have to add in tax and a tip. There's a few minor options in the made cafe, but tip is not included. The staff there is nice enough, but it is certainly not a place to go when you're in a hurry to get out the door. I had to allow a good 10-15 minutes, and that's only if I was counting on a cup of coffee. Coffee. They just get overwhelmed if there's a convention or any group of people in line. The bar seems fairly active with a lot of people engaged in the evenings. I did not patron it, but everyone else there seem to be having a good time.Amazon drop off locker is a bonus.Walking distance to the Pentagon and fairly decent access to 395 and a few other easy to get two places. For the most part, traffic has not been an issue in the immediate area around the hotel, so it's pretty easy access to capital hill, Alexandria, airport, and a few other places. Proof in the pudding is that I will likely stay here in the future even though my primary place is at the Navy Yard. Not going to lie, laundry appears to be a little bit sketch. Yes, it's across from the security but it's on the lower lobby in the center part and it looks like you're going into a back alley to get mugged (to be clear... LOOKS that way - safety was never a concern for me). There was a camera in the room so there's that, but there's only two washers and two dryers. So there's also that. You got to hit the timing just right. If you want to work out, the gym is pretty jacked. Decent amount of cardio and a surprising amount of weight options. Several TVs to keep you occupied and overall it seemed very clean and well kept.Rooms are decent size and the maid service is pretty spot on. Standard stuff all around there.Security seems pretty decent. Need a room key to get to upper floors. When I was taking pictures for this review, I was actually approached to ask if everything is okay, but it was pretty clear. There was a little bit of suspicion that there might be a safety factor at play. I actually appreciate that a great deal.Rooms: Pretty standard and clean. Well maintained. Good service.Nearby activities: Walking distance to Pentagon Park in a few other places. Literally across the street from the Pentagon. Easy access to Metro and 395Safety: Feels pretty secure except maybe the laundry room ? but there is a camera in there. Key card required to access room levels and I was actually approached when taking pictures for this review which was clearly out of suspicion. And which I greatly appreciate. It. At least means someone's keeping an eye on things.Walkability: Block it away from Pentagon Park and a few other places as well as the militaries five-sided funhouseFood & drinks: The famous rotating restaurant is on the top of the North Tower. Fun! View rotates about once an hour but a bit pricey for what you get.Noteworthy details: Parking is about 45 bucks a night. Locations actually really good ac

Convened a conference here in early September, and the conference staff were terrific! Everything went accordingly to plan. And the hotel staff were courteous and accommodating. Conference rooms worked out perfectly and options were solid and comfortable. We needed a low cost lunch option for conference attendees and they gave us three menu options that worked well given our packed agenda. Hotel rooms were comfortable and well appointed. Appreciated the in-hotel "mart" where we could purchase food, beverages, and snacks as needed throughout the day and into the evening in addition to a comfortable bar area where you could have dinner. Hotel shuttle from Reagan National was particularly convenient. Only ding would be not quite as close to Crystal City area restaurants as other area hotels. Would convene another conference here in a heartbeat.

Very nice hotel. The view was amazing of the city. The room and bedding was clean. They do have several places to grab food from however the "main" dining area is only open during certain times whereas the market is open pretty much all day. Also, for this being near an airport the planes were not too loud but it was nice to see all the pilots and attendants coming in.

Bed was wonderful. The gentleman that assisted upon my arrival to check-in was very pleasant. The restaurant staff during breakfast was excellent! The only ding was the front desk when my travel plans were delayed and I requested a late checkout. She was kinda rude and said it costs to do that. Perhaps it was the hotel but I've never incurred a cost as a Hilton member.based on my status to leave at 1p.

We stay here whenever we’re in town. Check-in is always seamless, the staff is friendly, and the room is clean with great AC. This stay we got food at the lobby bar, in which the staff was attentive, and the food was yummy. The cookies are always a delicious treat as well.

Overall the stay wasn’t too bad. However there was fried chicken in and on the carpet of the room when we got in. They got us checked in really early and the guy that did it was exceptional. I later asked someone about getting the shuttle to the airport and was told there would be no issue, just show up. When we did arrive for the shuttle it was completely full. When the next one came they let flight crew members cut and 2 others cut in line, when we tried to let the driver know he told us to shut up. This was so bad other guests were calling for Ubers to get to the airport. We didn’t get on a shuttle until almost 45 minutes after we arrived. It was a mess, unprofessional and not worth it. I’d pick a different hotel or just plan on walking to the subway. Also the shuttle goes to another hotel to pick up more people before the airport. We almost missed our flight and were very stressed out due to this ridiculousness. To the managers response that we will get which is the same on every review (yes we can see them all if you didn’t know) we won’t be giving you another chance and will avoid this hotel chain at all costs in the future. Somebody higher up should be monitoring this. Look at all the poor reviews lately.

Hello everyone, the location is close to a lot of amenities. Which is great. The bed is hard as a rock, the room was clean. There was no shower gel in the bathroom dispenser, breakfast after a horrible nights sleep is 18$ per person. They do accept dogs. Front desk is friendly if unhelpful. They are definitely a 2 star hotel. I have no idea how they got a 4 star rating. Happy travels people ??

I attended the watch party in the Monuments room last night for the 4th of July. Each ticket was $40 and there was to be a dessert bar and you are given two tickets for drinks included in the price. I can't be mad at the hourly staff as they tried their best with what they had to work with.I'll start with the decor... The lack of it and how it seemed like a complete afterthought by management. It looks like someone ran to the dollar store the day before and taped it haphazardly to the wall. The dress code was smart casual. I expected this to be enforced since it was a paid event. Nope. Everyone in there looked like they were going to a Caps game or in sleeveless shirts. Don't put a dress code on the invite if there isn't one.The food was god awful. $12 for a hot dog. $8 for a pretzel. That was absurd. The dessert bar didn't have anything Gluten Free, what was there got my wife sick. The ice cream was more of a shake than ice cream because it was melting. The cupcakes had the same texture as cottage cheese as well.

Standard room prices for the Pentagon area. Probably the best location for walking to the visitor entrance to the pentagon. As with any “fancy” hotel, food is not included. The breakfast restaurant is expensive. I thought a microwave breakfast bowl from the on-site “convenience store” would be reasonable, but it was over $15 dollars. I made sure I bought some food at the pentagon CVS for my next morning—two bottled waters and a box of oatmeal packets for under $10.I remember this hotel having an excellent gym from a stay almost ten years earlier. The gym is still there, with plenty of equipment, but it all needs some service, upgrades, or replacement. The yoga/floor pads were grimy and the treadmills were very squeaky.Walkability: Easy walking distance to the Pentagon, shopping, restaurant, and the Metro.
