Tyricia, the Customer Experience Outreach Leader, was absolutely incredible. I had a very complicated transaction that involved physical gift cards, e gift cards, and reward points. Initially the transition did not process correctly, however she worked tirelessly to get it resolved. She escalated the issue up to the corporate level to see that it was resolved. She kept me in constant communication via phone every step of the way. She even took the time at the end of the transaction to let me know how the problem was rectified. This is truly emblematic of good customer service. I so very much appreciate her hard work and dedication towards this complicated transaction, and seeing it through. Thank you! She deserves a raise.

Bought a sleeper sofa and a matching ottoman. The sofa was delivered right on time and that experience was a 5/5. The ottoman was back ordered as an in store pickup and I had to sign paperwork that the sale was final. After the sofa was delivered, I called the store and was told the Ottoman should arrive the beginning of the following month and they would notify me. No notification came and then I got a curse voice message that I needed to pick up my order or it would be cancelled. I talked to the manager and all I got was ‘Well, do you still want it?’ When did it come in, ‘A while ago.’

This review is for the design service. Here is a review for the incomplete design service from Chanell:
Disappointing and Unproductive Experience
From the very start, the process was frustrating and ended up being a complete waste of time. You are directed to fill out an online questionnaire, which I did and provided the requested photos and thoughtful responses. When the assigned designer reached out, Chanell asked me the same formulaic/generic questions over again and it felt like she hadn’t taken the time to review the responses already provided.
Beyond the “script” of general questions, no further attempt was made to learn more about the design/style/aesthetic we wanted. We were promised a mood board by a particular date, which I did not receive. When I followed up about getting her design recommendations and the mood board, Chanell did not respond. No explanation, no apology, nothing. Just incomplete work and a lack of professionalism.
While we are huge fans of Crate and Barrel, we are unlikely to plan additional room designs with them and will just switch over to Pottery Barn.

Terrible experience. They sold me a faulty product and then wouldn't fix it. They claim they are no longer responsible since it's from the "old store" which closed down. Then they told me to call the website customer service number, and that that would help me. They did not, despite being on the phone for over one hour. I was looking for a mat to a frame that was faulty. Literally a piece of cardboard, which was faulty when they sold it to me, and they refused. Their website says "we stand behind the quality of our products and want every purchase to be a positive experience. We will do our best to make things right if you are not satisfied." LIE and LIE. A giant waste of time for me and a huge disappointment that Crate and Barrel won't stand behind it's products, even when it was clearly their defect (which they admitted to). To make it better, they told me that they would give me a 10% off coupon (which they're offering to everyone on the website. That's insulting.
Someone from Crate and Barrel will respond to this and tell me to call them back and that they'll help me. They won't. It's just them trying to cover for themselves and pretend they care about their products and that they're customer friendly. Neither is true. Don't believe them.

Quick and easy pick up! I placed an online order and went to the store to pick it up. I had to park in the garage. This store has a special place in the garage for online order pick up. It was quick and easy to get my package.

Great location, super friendly staff, and excellent quick pick up with free parking. Highly recommend that if you have to go to a single crate and barrel in the DMV area, this is the one to go

Lovely store, large selection of beautiful items, nicely organized. Helpful and attentive staff. My main complaint is the parking. I ordered a curb side pickup item, but there was no where to park but in the garage, where I paid $6 for twelve minutes of parking! Most garages are free under fifteen minutes, or have a curb side pickup location outside the garage. Also, it was not clear where I should park for curb side pickup. Even though I said I was there right before entering the garage, my phone didn't work in the garage, so I ended up having to inside anyway. There were no designated curb side parking spots with numbers, so I don't know how they would have found my car. I would not do a mobile order from here again because $6 is unreasonable, and I don't think they actually offer curb side pickup.
