I stayed there in 1992 for 60 days. We were on the 5t floor and our balcony faced the WDC view. It was most relaxing and enjoyable experience I have ever had In that facility. I believe or rate was 63.50per day. I give it a 5 star rating.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this remarkable building, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. The hospitality of the people there was simply outstanding—cute and supportive, making me feel right at home. The hotel itself was impeccably clean, with top-notch facilities that catered to every need. However, what truly stood out was the vibrant Arab community within the building, whose warmth and helpfulness added an extra layer of richness to my experience. I can confidently say it's one of the best places I've ever been to, leaving me thoroughly happy and satisfied.

It's the same 20-30 children running unsupervised EVERY single day...EVERY single night. They ruin all the amenities. Run unsupervised in the gym while you try to work out. Run unsupervised in the lobby till honestly like 1-2 am.
We have a very nice Computer room with MacBooks and I have witnessed the same children standing on the tables unsupervised ruining the Macs...they leave all their trash and just have no concept of respect for other people living here. Other than that, I actually liked my apartment, but management refuses to do anything about the aforementioned problem. Good Luck! This place sucks.

Paper thin walls and very cheap poor quality construction. If you like it to sound like Niagara Falls when a neighbor flushes their toilet and to distinctly hear your neighbors at midnight while you try to fall asleep then this is the place for you. Flooring coming apart, see through window blinds and an HVAC system that hardly reaches one bedroom and leaves it either hot in summer of freezing in winter. Also a group of non- English speaking residents that love to slam their doors and yell on the middle of the hallway, gym, common spaces etc. at all hours of the night.

UNSUPERVISED CHILDREN:If you want to live with 20 small, screaming children running around your lobby and amenity spaces WITHOUT supervision, then live here. They are very loud and leave a mess that the cleaning crew has to clean up every morning. I’ve been living here for several months now and this behavior is very consistent. You could ask anyone in this building and I am sure they also feel the same way. There are even designated spaces and amenities for children to be loud and energetic.

Great building with good staff (depending on the shift) and great amenities. Outside of the issues that I am about to share, I can’t complain about the other tenants. However, some amenities, the 1st floor, and the 2nd floor are made almost entirely unusable by a group of 20-30 children and their inconsiderate parents. Consistently violate the written terms of the lease with no consequences, including but not limited to:- Running around and screaming down the hallways during all hours of the night despite established quiet hours- Unattended children misusing equipment in the game room and gym despite policies requiring adult supervision and general public courtesy- Using common areas for large gatherings every night until late hours of the night without reservations despite policies that require reservations, time limits, and fees for everyone else- Children using all computers in common areas to play games and watch videos for hours despite policies prohibiting children from using the computers and time limits on usage.- Frequently leaving spills, messes, and garbage in common areas- Children disturbing others in the common areas despite not being allowed access without adult supervision- Children with copies of keys to access areas in the building despite policy of 1 key per tenant explicitly on the lease.Very few, if any, of these children/parents speak English, so they completely disregard any request to limit disturbances both during AND after hours or they simply do not care. Tenants have complained and expressed frustration with no response or resolution. Many of these blatant lease violations are ignored probably from the fear of being seen as “intolerant”. Rules are enforced pretty regularly for other tenants. The other reviews about this issue are spot on, especially if you live close to the first floor. It certainly does feel like there are 6-10 people per unit despite the largest possible unit having 3 bedrooms.

I’ve lived here a year and just resigned my lease. It is a great place to live, great amenities, we never hear our neighbors from inside our apartment.

Lazy front desk and I’m not a resident. Tried looking at apartments and they kept trying to transfer me to the leasing office when no one is there. I told front desk they aren’t available and they told me “just leave a message”….

Ignore the other reviews. This place is exceptional and responsive. The construction currently being done is on the elevator area/floors and they hire SO many people that the construction is done very quickly. It’s really not that loud and we haven’t had any substantial issues. I guess maybe if you’re a unit close to the elevator but we are only 4 away from it. They’re very strict on noise levels on the patio and the pool which is annoying, but obviously keeps things safe. The units are all updated and very nice. All people who visit us cannot believe the amenities that we have and how nice it is. We’ve had no issues with the front desk. If we don’t hear back via email, we go to the front desk and have it resolved. Packages get “lost” but they’re usually just in the package room and you have to ask to be let in to check. Very easy. Very safe. Really no issues at all.

I've lived here for two years and loved it despite the construction noise. However, the small children running around unattended at midnight, groups allowed to use amenities beyond the rules time, small children breaking equipment, being told I'm breaking the rules when others have gatherings most nights in common areas without reservations, UNBELIEVABLE perfume odors that create nausea in common areas have all become despicable. Not to mention I moved here for the indoor pool that is now being turned into a pickleball court. Good luck living in this environment where management will not enforce their written policies. I've written many times with photos of the issues and nothing changes, zero enforcement of ANYTHING. They allow anyone to enter the building during the day and night staff sleep at the front desk and dont respond to anyone attempting to enter the building. I have photographed all this behavior and zero changes other than a staff person telling me I'm a problem.

I thought I would love living here because of the buildings amenities and proximity to metro, and while that’s nice. Having to deal with the staff and construction is a nightmare. I have lived here two years. Construction starts at 8am every morning even the Monday after Christmas and new years, through the holiday break this year which for most people is the only time they can sleep in, when I complained I was told I was the only resident who had an issue with construction during the holidays and made to feel as if I was being unreasonable. The front desk is not helpful, they don’t let guest into the building which means food deliveries don’t make it in or Amazon packages. Sometimes deliveries are left on the tables and chairs downstairs by the front door and not carried up by the front desk. One time I saw an vitamix get delivered while waiting for my Uber.they didn’t let the delivery driver into the building so I called the front desk and they wouldn’t come get the package. It wasn’t mine but knowing how much a vitamix cost I carried the package upstairs and told the front desk this always happens and once again I was made out to be the one being unreasonable by both front desk staff while being a Good Samaritan. the building offers package lockers and the front desk is supposed to receive the residents packages not let them be left at the building front door. The leasing office raised the rent 10% after a year even though the construction was still going on obstructing exits/elevators and inconveniencing residents. The office is really slow at responding which doesn’t really help you plan to move or not move in a timely manner. When I was thinking about renewing in June 2022 I was told in writing all construction on the building would be done in august 2022 no matter what and so I renewed rather than moving and assumed I was being told the truth only to find out later, when I asked, the explanation I got was not construction was delayed but that they meant the construction in the individual apartments not the construction in the common hallways on each floor ! I feel lied to of course because this was not specified and now I am locked into another year of construction at a higher rate of rent.I don’t go to work till noon most days so maybe my experience with the construction noise is different than someone who goes to work at 8am. I can’t imagine how it is for those that work from home. But I would have liked to have been told the truth and made to feel like my opinions are at least worth hearing out by my apartments administration. I would recommend living here if you don’t plan to spend time in your apartment during the day and don’t mind, lost packages and negligent front desk staff the rent raising every year with nothing to really show for it.

If you don't mind constant construction, it's not a bad building. Future residents should be warned that the leasing office increased our rent over 10% after the first year. The management office has been slow to respond, giving us insufficient time to determine whether to move, and unwilling to negotiate reasonable terms.
