The comfort inn pentagon city is not the place to stay. We stayed one night and when we checked into our room, we noticed a rancid smell. We walked by the closet and our socks got soaking wet. The clothes were so wet, we were unable to wear them to the military ball we were attending. This was mentioned to the front desk worker, who stated she was going to try to get us a new room for the evening. When we returned after the military ball, the front desk worker informed us that there were no rooms for us to switch to due to the hotel being fully booked and started we could talk to the manager in the morning. We went back to the hotel room to open the door and find that the rancid stench was still there. We woke up the next morning, both feeling absolutely horrible. Headaches, coughing, runny noses, nerve tingling, chest pain, and difficulty breathing. When we spoke to the manager in the morning and expressed our concerns with now feeling very ill, she was extremely disrespectful and showed no care. She would not provide a refund and stated that a doctor would have to state our illnesses were directly correlated to the room and to receive any type of refund. She continued to state that this was a new complaint and therefore was a new problem. I asked her to step into the room to smell the smell and she replied with that this was a new complaint and was from the leak. So she didn’t even truly address or show any concern for the problem and undermined my husband and I. Her customer service was honestly one of the worst I have experienced and was extremely upsetting due to that a hotel is supposed to provide suitable lodging and what was provided was harmful to our health with no concern from staff.
Rooms: Old and not clean. Our room had a leak that made the carpet soaking wet and smell horribly. Nothing was done to help us or address the concerns of the rancid smell in the room which smelled of mildew and mold.
Noteworthy details: The management staff was not friendly or caring. We had an issue with our room and it was harmful to our health and led to us being ill and the manager did not care to address the issue or provide any customer service to help us with the issue we were facing.

We had a two night stay. Beginning with the front desk, Endora and Kimmie (hope is written correctly) made the checking in and out process super speedy. Room was very clean, comfortable bed and pillows. Bathroom was super clean, carpet was vacuumed and everything was working properly. Regarding places to eat, you have not only the restaurant, but 5 minutes drive you have Villages at Shirlington. Plenty of places, different offers, cinema, pharmacy, among others. This hotel has a great location for both DC and Alexandria Old Town. It definitely worked for us.

I had worst experience of my hotel stay of my life. Being a platinum member i want to state this is a unfriendly hotel , bad location and staff can give you very hard time for no good reason as it happend to us. They cancelled my reservation for no reason which was prepaid and prebooked . Folks reading it please book carefully before booking as i had to rebook at a different hotel late in the night when traveling with old parents and small 2 kids after reaching the property for asking give rooms closeby. The staff there are bad and don’t have good humility behavior. After requesting to support , manager told us to leave property in a humiliated manner.

This is by far the worst hotel along with hotel pentagon. I’ve heard from the employees that these hotels are very old and has mold. The owner doesn’t care about the property only to make money and take advantage of their employees as well. The hotel could be better but again the owner is cheap. Their is also a pest issue and unprofessionalism. I wouldn’t even call those property hotels, if anything it’s a motel. Don’t go either of these properties, they need to be demolished along with relocating the owner. Housekeepers that worked for over 10 years and still no raise? What a joke.

I had the worst experience ever at. Despite booking my room two months in advance for October 10th-13th, 2024, I encountered significant issues.
On Wednesday, October 9th, at 11:34 pm, I called to confirm my late check-in. However, upon arrival on October 11th at around 8 am, I was shocked to discover that my room had been marked as a 'no-show' without notification. Additionally, my card had been charged.
To make matters worse, the front desk staff, specifically Tamara, treated me poorly. Despite having proof of my prior call, she repeatedly denied any record of my notification and displayed unacceptable behavior, lacking basic manners.
Furthermore, when I brought this to the manager's attention, they failed to take any corrective action or apologize for the mistake, which was entirely the hotel's responsibility. The mistreatment I received was unacceptable.
I am extremely dissatisfied with the hotel's handling of my reservation and the unprofessional conduct of the staff
And they also block my account to hide their fault that's why couldn't able to rebook. The hassle I faced for them can't explain.

When we were about to leave, we contacted one of the hotel employees named Keuri Patel, General Manager
She was very bad at communicating with me
I asked for a half-hour extension, but was refused. She told me that I would call the police, and I don’t know why I was being treated like that. The hotel owner could go back to the camera and follow up on what happened.
Therefore, I strongly advise you not to stay in this hotel
Here are some reasons
The smell is very bad
Receptionist Keuri patel was very helpful

NOT A REVIEW. WARNING. ???
Made reservations through Travelocity. Upon arrival used a different card for deposit (something I do very regularly at Comfort Inn as I keep a separate account for this very purpose). Hotel Charged Double. Management is never available to speak with and has made zero attempt to get back with me to discuss this. Almost two weeks after checking out and still receiving charges in excess of 500$.

Poor customer service. Did not honor cancellation policy as written. Couldn’t get customer service to recognize their error. Required multiple requests for receipt.

Room:
They're a bit old. The fridge smelled pretty disgusting.
The bathroom had no mold and was clean.
Service:
Very friendly service.
The staff in the hotel restaurant and at the reception were very friendly and helpful.
Location:
A bit far for Washington D.C. The traffic to D.C is very difficult, we were stuck in traffic for +30 minutes every 3 days.
Conclusion:
Very ok for the price. We would come again.
Food and drinks: Breakfast included,
Other meals are chargeable. Prices are within normal limits.

Absolutely HORRIBLE service , Ive never had a hotel refuse a refund. Booked the room at 1:30PM - Called to cancel at 1:45 considering it was a mistake. They refuse to refund. Check the rest of the reviews !!!
