Picked up a sweet glove at the Arlington Little League Opening Day Ceremonies - but wasn't yet able to use it as I'm recovering from an injury. Moving around better now and began to break in my glove and found a defect. Eric went out of his way to help me out. Told me to email him some photos to save a trip out to him. Confirmed with me that he received them. Updated me a couple hours later that he sent them to the glove rep and was waiting to hear back. Got back to me same night that they were going to credit him for the glove and he had another waiting for me at the store. Probably some of the best follow up/follow-through customer service I've had in quite a long time. Thanks, Eric!

Super helpful staff! Izzy, Sam, and Adam (I think those were their names) had a lot of advice and very good service in trying out a specific brand of hiking boots. Seemed like they knew their stuff, even for college-age outdoors enthusiasts (no shade haha). Highly recommend, especially if you want to support local businesses!!!

This family run outfitter has been around for 80 years. They understand the area, and the gear you will need to be successful in your future adventures because they have done it. We attended a speaker event - yes, it’s a learning center as well - with the Appalachian Trail Conservancy where they had two hikers who had completed the trail. We covered everything from medical emergencies to the number of socks that you might need for the entire hike. I went from pondering possibilities to “I think we can start this in March” in the space of a couple of hours. We have a bit more to go but i am confident now that this is real and that I now have a place that I trust to help me achieve this lifelong goal. I think you will as well!

Really nice store with a big selection of clothes and shoes for outdoorsy people. Came in for 1 pair of shoes and got two! Will definitely be coming back for other things that I'll be needing!

The store is an institution that dates back 80 years. I thought it was 40 what do I know? I’m not 80 yet The current owner has carried on the tradition of great service, great product, and a great experience . So even before you get out the door for your journey you should stop by here. Pick up what you might need and get a lot of info that comes from experience and the heart.

This place is a local treasure. They have great stock in footwear and apparel, and carry loads of other recreation, sports and outdoor gear items. They carry Scout supplies and uniforms, baseball and softball equipment, disc golf gear, watersports gear (including youth PFD's), hammocks, all kinds of bags, climbing gear, you get the picture. Quality of staff and merchandise is top notch. Shout out to Owen who helped my child find a great water shoe for camp. They will order items/sizes/colors in for you if it's not in stock.
