The entire team was kind, highly professional and efficient. They were also quite flexible with scheduling, getting me in last minute in the evening for an x-ray so I didn’t have to worry overnight. Highly recommend!

Caring hands has an amazing staff. I’ve met with several of the doctors and they’re always informative and considerate of my concerns. The nursing staff is also amazing and love when buddy visits.

I and my two cats joined Caring Hands in September 2023, and they've been wonderful over the past year! One cat was diagnosed with epilepsy, and they were incredibly accommodating to fit us in for appointments during the early days of her diagnosis. Recently, we are preparing for a big move and they've been wonderful with helping me understanding the whole process with taking pets abroad. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The vets, techs, and staff are always really nice and helpful. I never feel rushed, and they want to help me find the best solution possible for my pets that makes the most sense--not just the most expensive one. My last visit was with Dr. Emond who was so gentle and sweet with my senior cat. It was also heart-warming to hear that she had spoken with one of the other vets--Dr. Goff--about my cat. It shows that, even for a large practice--they still personally know their patients!

My four year old pup had a very nice visit at Caring Hands today! This was our first time here! We changed from the previous clinic to Caring Hands because the other place wanted to sedate our dog just for his annual examination and vaccinations!
There was no such requirement at Caring Hands! Our dog is indeed a little reactive but both Dr. Emily Thornton and Keila at Caring Hands knew how to handle him! They were compassionate and thorough! We liked the atmosphere at Caring Hands felt comfortable there! Thank you Caring Hands!

Great service and attentive staff. Very professional through and through when caring for my 4 y/o “pup”.
I wish they offered insurance plans. Still, they are worth every dollar.

I've been bringing my big fluffy black and white cat to CHAH Clarendon since I moved back to the DMV area in 2022. They've provided the best care including doing his dental care - anesthesia and a couple of extractions - and helping me get my cat through a life-threatening emergency illness and post-emergency check-ups and care. Staff are friendly, veterinary staff are knowledgeable and ready to answer questions; service is quick; and the hours are convenient. Plus the cat exam rooms have some much appreciated catification (wall perches). I highly recommend CHAH Clarendon!

I called a couple of times and always got through to a medical assistant named Ally, who used the phone's speaker to call me. Yesterday I was informed that they and I would "not waste our time" calling back and forth. From what you see in the reviews, it seems that I was saved from a good scare.
Scare tactics and ultimatums don't work on me.

I have been coming to Caring Hands Clarendon with my boxer pups for years. This location is amazing with getting pets in for visits; we enjoyed Caring Hands Alexandria and Arlington too, but visit this location because we have had the best luck with getting timely appointments, and because of Dr. Thornton. All doctors we have seen at this location are wonderful, but Dr. Thornton deserves a special shout out. She is so amazing, treats our boxer pup like her own, and she is extremely trustworthy, diligent in her exams, and kind. My boxer looks forward to seeing her at her check ups, and so do we! We have recommended this location to many because of these reasons.
