1)Few months ago i was disappointed by one of the teller,I decide to not return to this branch because a have had a very bad experience with one of the lady (teller)who instead to give the 50 cents back she asked me to write a check for 5O CENTS I was looking around me wondering it is possible to make a check for 50 cents. I asked to see the manager she is not available her answer to me. I wrote the check upset .This was my bad experience.2)Another time I went to the bank waiting for my turn since i refused to deal with the same teller. A gentle man asked me if he can help me, he was kind and extremely professional, his name is Hamza who was provide the nicest service to the point i get back to the bank just to get help from Hamza.Thank you Hamza I appreciate very much your help and your great support.

Absolutely worthless branch of Capital one with lazy employees that don’t care to help you do anything at all. I’ve been there 3 times because it’s the closest location, and every single time they come up with every reason in the book why they can’t assist me. Garbage. Go anywhere else if you need assistance. This building should be bulldozed.

Quiet location, efficient staff. They knew exactly what I needed from them without having to explain it multiple times and were so pleasant! Also, next to no wait time!

If a customer comes to open an account in this day and age of covid 19, the best you can do is service them, not tell them to go online. There is a reason they made the effort, they might need personal financial advice that the internet cannot provide. Disappointed.

This branch has refused to cash my checks 2 times so far. They make up some fake policy or say they don’t have cash. What kind of bank does not have cash? Other Capital One branches like the one in Rosslyn is terrific.

This organization, The Capital One Bank. has created the most difficult experience I can remember in any financial dealing I have had in my life. I went to my local ELM STREET branch of the Capital One Bank and ask to with draw a $200,000 cashier's check. I did not realize that the check was drawn as a simple cash withdrawal not as a cashier's as I had asked. Unfortunately the check was lost two days later. I quickly walked back in to the Elm Street branch and reported the loss. I was told I would have to wait 3 months to have the funds replaced in to my savings account because there was no way that a "stop" could be on this check ????? I made several calls asking for reassurances and talked with the Branch Manager (ELM STREET) I called the CUSTOMER CARE OFFICE asking if I should buy a BEARER'S BOND AND WAS TOLD IT WAS NOT NECESSARY. because alerts had been put in place that would red flag an attempt to cash this check. Three months are up and I have been looking for the funds to be deposited into my account. I was told I have to go in to the ELM STREET branch of the bank, bring my receipt (which was lost with the check) and plan to spend several hours as this is a very difficult procedure. I am a VERY senior citizen who has had many financial dealings in the past and that is the reason I am so disappointed in the way this unfortunate situation is being handled especially by this bank which claims to have excellent customer service.

Every time I go to this bank there is a problem, I am a business owner and I also work for a real estate company, therefore I use the bank a lot, I do deposits every week, I take the checks to this bank they will always put a problem, but the worse thing was humiliating me for a $900 check, they called my bos and told him I was trying to cash a check and the signature does not match, my boss signature was exactly as always and never had a problem in other banks before, however they called my boss and had to wait for almost 40 minutes until they were done reviewing my check, at the end they gave me my money, and all the trouble was because they thought I didn't have an account with them and was trying to get the cash, yet I have an account and all I wanted to do is deposit cash directly to my savings instead of the check. Very disrespectful and mean!! Never banking there again.

I have been a customer with the bank for close to ten years, and out of all the branches I have been to, the manager of this branch is amazing! I live in DC but I would rather go a bit out of my way to have a great experience! She will always make sure your problem will be resolved one way or another or just naturally you'll find yourself happy banking there!

I'm a bit stingy with five star ratings, but this branch deserves it. I'm not even a customer there. I just go in monthly to deposit my rent to my landlord's account. They are incredible friendly and helpful.
