Our child has been enrolled at the center since they were an infant and have been through every age group. We cannot express how much we love this center and appreciate the staff. I remember when we started that every teacher/staff member new our child's name even if we had no idea what theirs was. They have been wonderful whenever we've had a concern about development or goals we have received support from teachers and administration. We cannot recommend this place enough.

Bright Horizons Court House is the most wonderful, attentive, patient and loving school for our children. I cannot speak more highly of how well they take of the students, keep the parents informed and provide a great education and learning center. We feel so lucky to have found BHCH!!

Super smooth process - and most importantly the best, most caring and loving staff that goes above and beyond!

I had been warned that securing a daycare spot for an infant in Arlington County was a horrendous experience and that no childcare option would be perfect; however, my experience with Bright Horizons (BH) at Courthouse has been nothing short of Exceptional. As a first-time mother and planner, I placed my unborn child on waitlists across Arlington when I was 8 weeks pregnant. My various encounters with the other neighboring daycare centers were less than ideal given their lack of transparency with waitlists (despite my calling for updates, I was often given a run-around), dated facilities, poor health requirements for teachers/caregivers (e.g. tDap and Flu vaccine, which is recommended by the CDC) and one exceptionally rude director. Megan and her welcoming team at BH Courthouse were completely transparent with their enrollment/waitlist process from the beginning and have continued to provide me and my family with a sense of security that is priceless. We transitioned to BH after having a nanny when my daughter was 5.5 months old and have never looked back. The backbone of the center is its outstanding director, Megan, who is a great communicator with a friendly open-door policy. Her experience with children, BH and daycare in general makes her a solid resource and her commitment to excellence is always evident. The teachers are also exceptional. They are passionate and truly love children. The transition from home to daycare was remarkably easy and I owe that to her teachers who honored my parenting style, worked with our prior routine (making appropriate recommendations as indicated) and listened carefully to my questions/concerns. I never worried about her safety and could see how tenderly they cared for my child every single day. There is careful attention to cleanliness and hygiene at BH Courthouse, particularly with the rate of illness and risk of contagiousness among infants. The center does a great job communicating with the parents about any contagious illness if/when it occurs to prevent spread and keep everyone safe. We receive updates/pics through the BH app, and while I wish I could see more of her throughout the day (there are no video cameras), I almost always had a solid account of what her day entailed in terms of diapers, feedings, naps and activities. There was even one time where she started developing a minor diaper rash and I was called as a courtesy given she was not previously prone to diaper rashes; the BH policy requires teachers to change infant diapers every 2 hours and while we went through a lot of diapers, I felt the prioritization of her hygiene and health far outweighed the cost. When I transitioned my child to solids, the teachers were critical in helping me understand if/when to try something new, how much she was consuming and ideas for how to encourage independence with feedings. Our transition to the toddler classroom also occurred with tremendous ease due the clearly outlined process incorporating scheduled visits and activities over the course of weeks (thankfully, not an abrupt move from one classroom to another) as well as the support of the teachers and director. The culture of the center and the teachers' happiness was evident to me from the day I entered the facility prior to enrollment. Even now, my daughter and I are consistently greeted by staff who are not even directly involved in her daily classroom. When my daughter was hospitalized in the PICU, two of her teachers traveled to an inconvenient hospital to visit her and teachers from other classrooms put together get-well cards for her as well. The BH at Courthouse feels like a family and I feel lucky to have enrolled my child in their care from the beginning.

This is a brand new DayCare (opened in Feb 2019) with a very kind, motivated and dedicated team. It is our 2-year old daughter’s fourth daycare (one in Maryland and two others in Arlington). We chose Bright Horizons at Courthouse because it is the closest to our home and we were quite happy with the quality of Bright Horizons at Rosslyn. After one week we are delighted: best daycare ever! Good quality of food, great feedback about what happened during the day, a lot of artistic activities. The staff really cares and loves our daughter. They welcome us with French words (we are French) and we love the Bright Horizons smartphone app where you can see (in almost real time) what your kid is doing (pictures are taken everyday), what and how much food she ate, how long she slept, etc: very nice to be able to check in during the day through a few taps and to know what to prepare for dinner :) The only thing to improve is the parking system but I am sure it will get better in the next few weeks once everything gets optimized. This is the first time I am writing a review for a Daycare. This one really deserves it. It is a bit pricey but if you can afford, it is great value for money!
