We have bought two appliances from Bray and Scarff at the Arlington location since moving into our house 6 years ago. The first was a refrigerator - and it was excellent. We went to the store, had a helpful associate show us models, and - boom - a day later had a new refrigerator.Where Bray and Scarff really shined and impressed us, however, was with our recent stovetop purchase. I won't belabor you with the long story, but the TLDR is that we had tried for months to buy a new stove top from an associate at B&S -- and it was dismal. Endless emails back and forth. We paid for two measurements. And we were constantly chasing the associate.I was about to give up, but then a new associate - Ali - stepped in to help me. WOW What a phenomenal change. Ali was thoughtful, fast, and driven to help us get the stove we wanted. He responded to emails and texts within minutes - not weeks. He got the measurement perfect, communicated very precisely about the details, ordered our Wolf induction stovetop within a few short days (as a pose to MONTHS without ordering from the prior associate) and the second things were delivered, scheduled our install. He was also thoughtful and consultative - not pushing us in one direction or the other, but really helping execute our desires.The crew that did the install was also excellent: kind, thoughtful and were clearly experts. They had to cut about an inch into the countertop, remove parts of our internal cabinetry, and had to do complex removal and setup of the fan system from the crawl space. They did the whole thing in a few short hours and ensured cleanup was done properly.Ali and his team are absolutely amazing. If you go to buy an appliance at B&S - ask for him. You won't be disappointed.

I DO NOT recommend Bray and Scarff at all. We had bought our appliances 5 years ago from their Arlington store. We have had issues with all 5 items, especially with the built-in fridge. This is our second fridge that we have had in the 5 years since we were sold a lemon, basically. In the first two years, we had that fridge serviced, at minimum, 7 times. And the sales person told me it's the BEST fridge and they sell a lot of them. Now over $20,000 later we have a mess on our hands. We have an extended warranty with Centricity who works with Bray and Scarff. We have a leak in the back of the fridge every time we use the water spigot. We called Centricity who took 2 weeks to get in touch with Bray and Scarff. Basically, the companies do not communicate with each other so customer satisfaction does not exist. Bray finally set up the appointment and came on Monday. The repair guy saw the leak in the back but said he could not do anything because he needs Bray's installers to pull the fridge out so he can get to the pipe. I have been calling Bray everyday to only be told they have sent the request to management to get approval but no one has looked at it or have approved it. I called again this morning to only be told, them pulling the fridge out will not be covered. They are still waiting for the installation team to get back to them, along with management. (what a joke, what is the point of an extended warranty). I should not have to pay for them to pull the fridge out. This is their problem. I have NOT received any update when I am told they will call me back at the end of the day, each time I called. Now I am going on 4th week with no resolution. BEWARE BUYING FROM THEM. THEY WILL DO EVERYTHING TO GIVE YOU THE SERVICE BEFORE BUYING BUT AFTER YOU BECOME A CUSTOMER, THEY DO NOT PUT THE CUSTOMER FIRST. WORST SERVICE EVER!

I’ve been a customer since 2016, purchased a refrigerator, dishwasher, gas range, microwave and most recently a washer & dryer. The 5 stars are for the install crews. They are professional, knowledgeable and use care to protect the property as they haul heavy appliances in and out.

We received very prompt and professional service from the time we walked into the store. The staff was very efficient using previous customer data to determine the dimensions of the appliance we needed. It saved a lot of time and limited the amount of time we needed to determine our product options. Ordering, paying, and delivery plans were handled very smoothly, and we were in and out of the store in 45 minutes or less. Great service.

The GE Profile Microwave I bought at Bray & Scarff in 2004 (!) finally stopped working so I called B&S today to see what they had available. Ali answered my call and even found the record of my 2004 purchase (!) and walked me through some options. Of course, new, more fancy lines have come out over the last 20 years but I didn’t think I needed anything too elaborate or expensive. In fact, Ali himself directed me toward the GE Profile microwave oven that most closely aligned with what I have and saved me a trip to the store by doing it all online (I don’t drive so this indeed helps). I was able to review the item on my laptop while I spoke with Ali on my cell. Everything was easy and I’m really glad I called today. Thank you, Ali, and thanks also to Bray & Scarff.

Thank you to Joseph at Arlington Bray & Scarff for making my purchase of a washer/dryer from them an easy choice. Few things are as disruptive to a household as broken laundry appliances. After taking my time, gathering quotes and talking to experts (appliance repair techs), I got what I wanted and the best price at Bray & Scarff. From purchase to installation, the process went well. And when there was a hiccup (things happen), Joseph was my point of contact and he kept me in the loop. I felt well cared for.

I purchased a new stove at Bray & Scarff just before Thanksgiving. The salesperson helped me understand the pros and cons of gas vs. induction and what would work best for me. He then did a great job helping me understand the differences between the two GE options so I could make an informed decision. I also want to compliment the installers. It's a very busy time of year for them and they didn't make it to my house until 8 pm but they couldn't have been in better spirits, even though parking is tough in my neighborhood and they had to park a few blocks away. They did an excellent job and I was so impressed by their manner at the end of a long day and long week.
