They offer friendly, fast, and fairly priced inspection services. The cafes and other services nearby make it easy to complete other errands, eat, and shop while you wait. The metro is also within walking distance.

Great experience. Juan was fantastic to deal with, very kind and quick. Brought our Sienna in for a tire plug on MLK day 2024, we were down visiting from Boston. Out the door I was in less than 30 min. Price was very fair, will not forget this gem of a shop!

I hate leaving negative reviews, but I haven't been able to get a response reaching out directly so I guess here we go.I went to Arlington Autocare last month to get 4 new tires installed. I asked that after installing the new tires, they put the best of my old tires on as a spare. I paid the extra fee for that, they were nice about it, seemed fine. A while after getting my car and leaving, I noticed that instead of doing that, whoever installed my tires simply left one of my old tires on the car and put one of the new tires I was having installed on as my spare. Obviously not what I had asked--or paid--for. So I ended up with an incomplete tire installation and I needed to have the old tire moved to my spare. I didn't notice this immediately because, honestly, I didn't think I would need to double check, for a tire installation, that the tires were installed where they were supposed to be. Seemed pretty routine, and I've never had any issue like this before. But when I did notice, I contacted them using the email they've provided in response to numerous other negative reviews. I included photos and a copy of my receipt. No response. I followed up a few days later, after I had to go somewhere else to have someone finish the job. Again, no response. So either the email they've offered to others isn't actually monitored, or they just ignored my emails. The valve stem caps were also missing on all my tires. Obviously not as big of a deal, but still annoying--especially in light of the bigger tire issue.I also had another interaction that left a bit of a sour taste, unrelated to the tires. I had been having some trouble with my front driver-side window rolling up, so I had turned on the child locks to keep it from being rolled down until I could have it looked at. Whoever installed the tires also happened to turn off that lock and rolled the window down; when I went to roll it back up, I heard a clunk, the window dropped, and it wouldn't go back up at all. Not sure why my window needed to be opened for a tire installation, which is why didn't cross my mind to let them know not to do that, but so that breaking isn't really on them. However, after that, I called them to see about getting it fixed. I told them what happened, acknowledging I should have let them know about the window, and explained I was pretty sure my window regulator had broke (which turned out to be the case). I asked, if it were my window regulator, if they had a ballpark figure for what it would cost to have that replaced. The person I spoke to told me their diagnostic fee and said he couldn't provide a ballpark without knowing what was wrong. I said that was fine, but asked again for a ballpark IF it were the regulator. He said he couldn't give any figure whatsoever. I understand you can't guarantee prices for repairs--sometimes things end up being worse than was thought, it turns out to be something else, etc. But I feel like you should be able to give an estimate for a pretty common service, and it felt a little scammy to not be able to provide any sort of price estimate until after the $100+ diagnostic. On a positive note, everyone working there was nice when I was there, so there's that.

I've used Arlington Autocare for a number of years and have always felt like they did good work. In my experience this is a business you can trust. Recently my car was stolen and we brought it to Arlington Autocare after it was found. The team there was honest and up front with me and helped me make decisions that would make navigating insurance easier, even though it meant moving my car to another location and losing the business of those repairs. For me, being able to feel confident in trusting my auto repair shop is important and I will continue to be a customer!

I dropped off my car here last week to have my brake checked due to a grinding sound. After 30mins they called me and said I needed my brake pads, rotors, calipers and actuators replaced on both side. They gave me an estimate for over $3500. I was immediately suspicious because my car is brand new and shouldn’t need all that replaced. Took it to another trusted mechanic and he checked everything.. I ended up only needing to pay $250 to get the brake pads and rotors replaced. So glad I trusted my instincts and went somewhere else, saving me SO much money. I’m beyond disappointed in this business and feel like there were trying to rip me off since I’m a young women with an accent.. don’t recommend going here and would give 0 stars.

They did a great job replacing my tire. They were timely, respectful, and were even able to get me a discount. I will go back for other services.

Great service and great prices! I had a dead battery across the street at the gas station and Manny, who was also working as cashier, was kind enough to being over a portable charger and got my car started! Then the manager, even though late in the day, changed the battery! I was amazed since i was preparing to uber home and come back in the morning. Definitely recommend this repair shop for all your repair needs!Service: Battery

I spent almost $3000 on brakes, pads, calipers, and other stuff this year, over the course of six months. Then, I brought it back for an inspection, and their tech gave me a rejection sticker for a brake issue. I'm still trying to wrap my head around how that is possible, but I have not had a single issue with my truck until I started bringing it here.

2018 Audi TTThe team at Arlington Autocenter was able to accurately pinpoint the issue, offer a cost-effective solution as well as a complete solution.I choose to do the cost-effective solution since I was on a time crunch. They were able to efficiently and effectively order the parts necessary from the manufacturer on a timely matter and even went as far as to work afterhours to get my car fixed in time.My 5-Hour drive back to New York couldn't have been any smoother!Services: Steering & suspension repair

We have enjoyed using Arlington Autocare for many years off and on. Every time we moved back to Arlington, VA, for short or longer stints we take our autos for State Inspections or for other repairs to Arlington Autocare. Recently when we had the tires rotated, the oil changed and the fluids topped off they advised us to purchase a new battery soon. As we have a long road trip coming up we decided to take their advice. They discovered the connectors were corroded so we are pleased we took their recommendation sooner rather than later! Every staff member, from inside the office to out in the garage, is experienced and each one has such a pleasant personality. We are happily surprised with the reasonable prices we pay for Arlington Autocare services. We appreciate your taking excellent care of our vehicle. Thanks so much. Sincerely, Nora Jean and Mark

I went here for an annual safety check for my car. They failed me due to suspension and "LR-Trail arm bushing slide out". They wanted to charge me $1,484.78 in their estimate for services to fix. I went to another honest trustworthy business to fix for $574. Went back here & they failed me again asking for another part to change (2 other places confirmed didnt need to be changed). I went to another place & passed safety inspection. It is simply not right what this business is doing ripping off hard working Americans of their hard earned dollar. When they arent busy doing that, they are busy giving you further trouble. I had a terrible experience here & will stay far away from this business going forth.

I made a apt for a oil change and for a bulb to be looked at and they broke my release for my hood and never told me on site it took them 2 hours and they weren't busy and it was because they broke my release cord one of the mechanics told me who dates a friend of mine I called and asked a question to see if they would mention it and didn't so I did the fact that I still haven't gotten the truth or anything speaks volumes about how they treat women and how they run a BUSINESS I drive almost 40 mins to them because he works there and they didn't even appreciate me enough to tell me they broke the cord I'm not even sure they ever changed the oil but I'm sure they damaged my release cord and lied and it wasn't necessary it's a auto shop they could had been honest and then just fixed it instead they didn't care and they let me go on my way and took my money imagine if I were there sister wife or mother it's disgusting a shop full of dishonest man !
