I went here (Harrison-Lee) a couple of times just because I needed a manicure urgently. Both times the staff was incredibly rude, a horrible experience, the person that finally attended to me was kinder but the short hair woman was awfully rude, you couldn’t ask any question because they got mad and rude, it was really difficult to understand them so I had to ask twice. I hope you improve your customer service, for me it was my last time there.

I came here since my mom comes here to get her chin waxed and the eyebrow threading place I go to was closed today. My hopes weren't too high but I didn't think they would be this bad. My eyebrows are unsymmetrical now and I have to wait for them to grow back.

My mom and I have been coming here every Mother's Day for over 10 years. It's been degrading for a few years now but Sunday was the absolute worst. The lady who had my mom cut her toes so bad, did not scrub her feet at all I'm fairly certain her whole pedicure was only 10 min. She did her manicure French tip which also looks horrible and has already chipped the next day. Even my mom said her lady seemed grumpy and not wanting to be there This was our sign to find a different place from now on.

I love this place and Miss Rose is the best! She is kind and has a great sense of humor. She really cares and does a wonderful job. Everyone there is nice and professional. The business is clean and the atmosphere is relaxing. I’m always happy after I leave here.
Cleanliness: The place is clean and well maintained.
Stylist: Miss Rose is the BEST!!!

Very Rude… This salon is racist! They throw the tip on the fee of the service… Please know the price of services prior to coming to this place! They are NOT American! Please change the name of your nail salon! Vietnamese Nail Salon seems more appropriate!

So many other nail salons in the area, avoid this one. Rude lady, left bubbles on the nail and nail polish on my daughters skin after her gel manicure. When I pointed this out to the lady she sucked her teeth and made faces, I decided it wasnt worth the argument and paid. I will never spend a dime here. Easy fix it wouldve have been but her attitude decided the future outcome.

The Lady that did my toe nails did a horrible job, when her coworker was fixing what she did she came over pointed to my toes and she laughed, I told the lady that was fixing my nails that she was rude, she blamed my toe nails, like I never had done them before. So disappointing, I told her if was about getting at bad job I would do it my self an for free.Services: Foot massages

urchased "upgraded" mani pedis for my wife and mother in law for Mother's Day for $124. Walked in ahead of the visit after reserving spots the day before, paid, and left $40 cash tip. I should have had a clue something was going to go awry when I was greeted at the front with "what do you want?" I was stunned to see the two moms return 10 minutes after their appointment. Apparently my mother-in-law asked for French tips with purple and the nail technician rudely said no we can't do that. Maybe they can't, I don't even know what that is, however, the delivery of the news was so offensive, they left. Imagine how rude someone would have to be for an 80 year old grandmother to walk out on a gift from her favorite son in law. I drove back to American Nail to get my money back. I only said what was necessary to complete the transaction. Someone else tried to blame a language barrier as they returned the tip envelope, opened but with the $40; I responded that "kind" is the same in every language. Rude front desk guy couldn't process my credit card refund so he gave me cash. Mother's Day rude is on a whole other level. This place has no place being in business.

Do you wonder what they say about you that you cannot understand? My teenage daughter was getting her first dip manicure as a special birthday treat. As the manicurist was finishing the dip mani, one of the other manicurists walked up to her table and said "I don't like that color; it's so ugly." She clearly meant to say her statement in her first language ( Thai?) but she accidentally said it in English. My daughter was upset and also thinking the same thing as the lavender color came out unlike the sample - - looking very gray. After feigning incomprehension, a manager intervened and painted my daughter's nails a pleasant shade of regular purple nail polish over the dip manicure. Ugh. There was a lot wrong with this experience. Go elsewhere - even if you have to wait or make an appointment somewhere else. There's a reason this place is not busy.

This is the second time I come to this Nail salón and it's unfortunate they cant do a proper manicure/refill. The first time the Lady added the nail product and forgot to FILE entirely. The borders or the nail where uneven and the cuticle part of the nail was sticking out. This time I returned and explained what happened last time and gave them a chance without asking for any discount from last time. I asked for oval nails, I had to get a refill. The lady did it very fast and I had to file some of my nails in the spot which were so uneven. My nails did not end up oval, but a round/square shape. The painting wasnt good either. Bad experience but I hope they can train their staff more, and not rush through their sessions to attend more clients.

Handicap accessible and welcoming. They allowed my mom to stay in her wheelchair for area waxing of face. This is a senior friendly place. We will be coming back.Services: Manicure

This review is specifically for the nail tech Tee. She is so rude. She makes racist comments about people, especially south asians and arabs. I now live on the west coast, but I use to go to her when she worked at Arlington Nails (pre-covid). I recently visited VA over the summer in 2022 and decided to get a manicure and brow wax from her. She was rude back then and is still rude now. To make matters worse, she does a sh*t job with nails. She is very forgetful of her appointments and has admitted to it. She'll move your appointment around super last minute, sometimes even 15 minutes before the scheduled time, and if you can't accommodate to her schedule, you'll have to cancel your appointment. She is also really hostile when waxing brows. She aggressively pushes my face instead of gently pushing it to the side or just f*cking asking me to tilt my head. She doesn't even deserve a tip. Very unprofessional. She needs to be fired. Will NOT be going back. You guys want a good salon? Go check out Rain Lily in Vienna.

Will never return. Rushed nail job. Prices keep going up. Woman who waited on me was curt, rude, and inattentive to the nail repair required. Used to go regularly but service has continued to decline. And now that the price is high I will pay for a professional manicurist who cares.

You will get a much better pedicure at Orchid Nails around the corner. I came to American nails since I was unable to get in at Orchid. It had been about a year since I had come to American Nails last. Unfortunately, my pedicure wasn’t very good. She didn’t trim my cuticles well, cut my nails so short they hurt and were not even. The polish job is eh (due to the polish being diluted). I won’t be coming back. There are too many nail salons in the area that do a much better job.
