I recently moved out of this complex, I will say there are far more cons than pros. One thing they don’t tell you when you tour is the fact you can clearly hear the canons going off from the cemetery. It is SUPER loud and the times they go off is always random. Walls are super thin, I could hear my neighbors having sex and clearly hear their conversations like I was in the room with them. I am a deep sleeper and I had been woken up by them more times than I could count. I even moved my bed to the complete opposite wall from theirs and it did not help. I know more things about them than I would like to. Their golden retriever thing was also super annoying and would bark ALL DAY and I’ve seen it jump at other dogs and humans, including myself. The elevator was always broken. There’s only 2 and one would always be broken more than it was working. They’re also super slow. The fire alarm also went off multiple times in the middle of the night in a time span of like 2 weeks. Not very walkable to many places / the metro, it says this complex is in courthouse but it’s more so Lyon park neighborhood. When I moved out, they held onto my ID. Whenever I came back to grab my ID, the leasing office door was locked and I had to wait over an hour for them to come back so I could get my ID since I can’t drive without my license lol (it was NOT their lunch break either and there were two others who had been waiting even longer than me). When I moved in, the dishwasher and washer both had black mold in them and there was a very large dead roach in my room :). I lived on the second floor and the one and only time I ever went out to our balcony, there were roaches everywhere. I am still receiving calls from the call box even though I moved out months ago. Pros - maintenance is great and comes so quickly and the amenities are great (pool, community rooms, movie rooms, etc.)

Please be wary of their general manager Charlotte.
I toured the apartment with Mr. Callahan who was respectful and helpful. while I did like what I saw in the apartment and I was considering to move to this apartment complex, I recently had a very horrible interaction on phone call with their general manager Charlotte who would not listen and would just steam roll the entire conversation. If this is how she treats potential lessor , then god knows how she would treat people who already live there.
I am glad I found out now how they treat people and not later when I would have already moved in with such unprofessional management.

It has been great living here. LJ and Cal have made my life much easier throughout my time here. They are both super helpful and friendly, both willing to answer any questions or deal with any issues I’ve had!

Was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, honest and kind. I can't imagine a better experience. The facilities were clean and well maintained, security was top notch, and the staff was amazing. The apartment I toured had high-quality appliances, lots of natural light, and plenty of storage space.

The maintenance staff at 2201 N Pershing has been first-rate in responding to problems in my apartment, whether they were complicated - a reluctant AC system - or simple - tracking and fixing a water leak. Many thanks to them.

I must say, LJ and Cal from the leasing team are INCREDIBLE. I moved in last month and they have been super responsive, helpful, and just overall great. My apartment was clean and beautiful and ready for me to move into. The area has a lot to offer and feels safe especially at night. I would recommend!
