2001 Clarendon Blvd is a great building. Petra and Glenn are awesome and they go out of their way to help all the tenants. I owe them a lot! Hight recommended.

2001 Clarendon is the best building I could have ever chosen to call home! Everyone working here (Glenn, George and Petra in the leasing office, Kay and Mwai in the concierge, the maintenance and cleaning people) is simply the kindest, nicest and most helpful. I immediately felt welcomed and everyone has always been willing to help me with everything I needed, being super responsive. Everything I would ask, would be solved in a matter of minutes. The building is beautiful, state of art gym, pool and rooftop with a wonderful view, garage, and everything is always super clean and smells amazing. My apartment is big, has high ceilings, beautiful and modern kitchen and bathroom cabinets, great flooring. The location is also perfect, I can walk everywhere (including Georgetown) and it is just a few steps away from the Courthouse metro which takes me everywhere in the district and northern Virginia (the two airports included). Supermarkets, shops, restaurants and all sort of activities are all around the neighborhood. The 24h concierge always makes me feel safe which is particularly important to me, and in general the neighborhood is very safe. The other buildings in the area can’t even compare because they are all missing something that instead 2001 Clarendon has. I could not recommend living at 2001 Clarendon more!

We absolutely love living at 2001 Clarendon! The staff and amenities are beyond amazing. Additionally, the building is in the ideal location for DC commuters as it is a 2 minute walk from the metro. We couldn’t recommend living here more!

Very deserving of 5 stars. 2001 Clarendon offers a true sense of community with outstanding amenities, exquisitely maintained property and the best location known to man. You don't need a car. All in all, a GREAT place to live. - From a verified resident on ApartmentRatings

I lived here for almost 6 years and it was a top notch experience, through and through. The staff and leasing office team literally felt like family. Location is perfect. The units are modern, spacious, and aesthetically pleasing (high quality finishes and appliances, large windows). Our guests always commented on how nice our space was. The gym is well maintained and has everything you need for a workout. The rooftop pool and barbecue area are perfect hangouts when the weather is nice. We also hosted several parties in the rooftop lounge. Overall, can't picture a better place to live in the area.

Used to work at 2001 Clarendon Blvd part-time and it was a great experience for me. I enjoyed leasing luxury apartments that had the quality and features that leasers were seeking. The staff was great people and I would work there again.

I have lived in 2001 Clarendon for over a year and have nothing but incredible things to say. The apartment/building is great, but the management team goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to move to the area.

We knew that we'd found the right community as soon as we met Glenn from the leasing office and his warm, welcoming and "can do" attitude became apparent. Fantastic location, great amenities and unparalleled convenience from the variety of retail tenants within the building itself.

We moved into 2001 Clarendon in November 2020 and Petra and Glenn were very accommodating and helpful. Both Petra and Glenn, as well as the front desk staff and maintenance staff, are very professional and go out of their way to assist with any request. We had several small maintenance issues which were corrected promptly and to our satisfaction. The building is always clean and well maintained and the staff is always pleasant and responsive. We couldn't be happier.

Hidden gem in the Courthouse neighborhood. You can't beat the convenience factor and walkability. The units themselves are well appointed and very functional. Overall the staff is exceptional as well, maintenance requests are done quickly and with care. The staff generally knows your name, so the whole building has a family vibe in that way. You get the sense the team here honestly cares about your experience.

We are very pleased with our apartment here. We get lots of light and have great outdoor space. The ceilings are nice and high. Once inside our place, honestly, we feel like we live alone in the building. The staff is great. Very responsive. And our neighbors are apt-appropriate friendly. Which is very nice. - From a verified resident on ApartmentRatings

We lived in a 1300+ sq ft 2 bedroom apartment for four years, starting just before our first child was born and until the second was almost a year old. It was a wonderful experience, in large part because of the terrific management and staff. The first day there I met Sean in the hallway and, because he had a maintenance cart, I asked him how to get burnt out lightbulbs replaced. He said "You need a lightbulb? I'll put one in now." in a very friendly tone with a smile. That's how the staff are! Sean and his partner Dawit show up immediately to solve any problem....the best you will ever find: fortunately, because the only weak point of 2001 Clarendon (a high end luxury building), is that corners were cut in constructing it about 6 years ago. We had problems with our washer/dryer and I mentioned it to the assistant manger/leasing agent, Petra (the most professional leasing agent you will ever find) and Dawit came around to tell me we would be getting a new top of the line Samsung washer and dryer. When I experienced problem with the dishwasher, Sean told me they had ordered a new one and soon it showed up!Let's talk about the concierges at 2001 for a moment. When we got there it was Melissa weekdays days and Yemi weekdays evenings. These two women knew everything! always with a smile.Melissa was the heart and soul of 2001. The kids loved, her, the moms loved her and she loved the residents. Our apartment was vacant for a time before we moved in and our lease started.I showed up one day and asked Melissa if I could measure rooms for our furniture. She said "Sure...here's the key-you know where it is." Yemi, a young woman from Ethiopia worked evenings because she was doing a degree in civil engineering. She was absolutely fantastic in all respects and the friendliest person you could imagine. Daniel worked weekends and now works weekdays. Let me tell you what we think of this man: when the time came to deliver our second baby Daniel drove to the hospital (Johns Hopkins Baltimore) and stayed with our boy while I was was in the delivery room because our son felt comfortable with Daniel. Daniel is a lifelong family friend. Well, Melissa left to take a job as a leasing agent and Yemi became a civil engineer, and then covid hit. Now it is Daniel who runs the front with help from the managers, leasing agents and maintenance staff....doing a great job under difficult circumstances. When we arrived at 2001 Elizabeth was the manager-what a great manager! Because she had hired the world's best leasing agent, Petra, fantastic concierges and the maintenance team, you did not see much of Elizabeth. When she left to return to her home country, Glenn became manager and continues to this day-he has maintained the tradition of excellence across the board. We had to leave before the 4th year of our lease term ended because of covid-the apartment was perfect for two small children and us, but when my wife started working from home and all of the children's activities in Arlington were cancelled it was too cramped for the four of us 24/7. Glenn worked with us to find a solution: we found a new place with an overlapping lease term, vacated the apartment and restored it to original condition, and a new tenant moved in almost immediately so that all parties emerged with minimum financial hardship.I am not inexperienced as a tenant and have lived in buildings in Arlington, DC and New York. I also have experience as a professional investor in multifamily residential property. I have not seen better management in the business. We had lived in a B F Saul property (Lyon Place in Clarendon) and had seriously moving to Kennedy-Warren on Massachusetts Avenue or Waycroft in Ballston because Saul is also a fine residential property manger, but no others can compete. We do our diligence, and visit many high end properties. Before moving to 2001 Clarendon we visited three times to check it out.

I toured multiple apartment buildings in the DC area. While the outside of the building is nice, the actual apartments are overpriced and cheaply made. The leasing agent showed me a one bedroom that was priced a little over $3000. The total square feet was sufficient but the actual apartment was made for a handicapped individual meaning everything was very low including the island and cabinets. They were clearly just trying to get rid of it on me (despite not being handicapped) but the price was outrageous! I then got a call 3.5 weeks later that they had my license. I was meanwhile looking for this license and everywhere and had to get a new one. Why would they take that long to call me? Clearly the office is extremely disorganized. I would urge anyone looking at apartments to look at one of the newer places in Rosslyn or go further to clarendon to get closer to a grocery store. I eventually decided on a brand new apartment in a popular DC neighborhood that was actually CHEAPER then 2001 Clarendon
