I lived here for one year and the overall experience was great until I moved out. First of all, great maintenance staff, great front desk lady Kendra. However, the monthly utility is ridiculously high (not per resident personal use but shared), and they would charge you an excessive cleaning fee & another utility fee after you move out. I understand the existence of these charges is legit, but I highly doubt if the amount is??We tried to communicate with the leasing agent Rose with very nice and polite etiquette, yet she blocked us?And now i guess they are just gonna hide behind and have the third party agency "hunt" after us LOL. No this isn't over.
Plus: U see how other low ratings left by other minority/Asian tenants and complaints against Rose Fineberg? Straightup racism, if not any clearer

I've been a resident here for nearly 3 years, and I've had a very pleasant experience. The location is great, it's safe, and the service from the entire staff is great! A special shoutout to Hawo and Kendra, who are always so kind and go above and beyond to assist!

Great amenities including managed package handling, pool, etc. and great location (very close to metro, grocery stores, etc.). The staff including management team, concierge desk, and maintenance staff are really the best!! Many thanks to Rose and Taylor. And front desk especially Kendra and Howa! They go out of their way to be helpful! I will miss living here. We lived here for a year.

The apartment building is modern, clean, and has great amenities and the residents are quiet and respectful. It’s located just a short walk from the Rosslyn metro and from dozens of restaurants, a Safeway, a Target, and a CVS. The apartments are newly renovated, well-designed, and have great closet and storage space. On top of that, the management and concierge team are friendly and truly go above and beyond to make residents feel comfortable and at home (I’m sure the maintenance team is great too, I just haven’t needed their services yet)!
A special shoutout to Rose and Kendra for making my move-in experience so easy and helping me get settled in and feel welcome at 1800 Oak!! I hope to call this place home for years to come!!

Welcoming staff and I’m always greeted with a hello and smile. The apartments are close to the metro, Safeway, Target, and Starbucks. Very dog friendly!

When touring apartments, it is easy to compare certain factors such as location, floor plan, costs, utilities, etc. but it is relatively more difficult to gauge the quality of management in that short time window. We have lived here for 3 ½ years and my intention of writing this review is to highlight that very quality.
The management and staff at 1800 Oak are by far the best in the business in my opinion.
The management team (Taylor and Rose) keep this building running like clockwork. They could not be more responsive.
The maintenance team (Joe and Ahmed) is highly competent and resolves service requests on the first attempt in a timely manner.
The concierge team (Velma, Kendra and Hawo) are always a pleasure to interact with. They have one of the best methods for receiving, scanning, and stowing resident packages I have seen.

Great community - everyone is so incredibly kind and helpful. There is seldom a problem Hawo, Velma, Kendra, Rose, Taylor, and Ahmed cannot fix.

I have been living at the 1800 Oak community for three years. My husband and I moved here when I was four months pregnant and had our first baby in this community. We have always appreciated our time here. The apartment has been comfortable, and the maintenance team has consistently addressed our service requests promptly and professionally. The leasing office has also been responsive to our emails in a timely manner. I'd like to extend special thanks to Hawo, Kendra, and Taylor for their kindness and helpfulness throughout our time here.

Living here for over two years, I've found the leasing team, especially Howa H., to be exceptional. Howa's kindness, patience, and respectfulness stand out as she consistently addresses any inquiries with thoroughness and responsibility. Additionally, I must acknowledge the entire leasing team; like Taylor C., Community Manager and also Rose F., a leasing team, their dedication, amiability, and attentiveness make them truly exemplary in their roles. Thank them for making this place very special and pleasant.
