“Stopped by here while visiting Mt Airy from Princeton, WV and bought a few items including ice for lunch. Grocery store had that old time atmosphere from days gone by. Everyone needs to support this mom and pop Grocery store, not many of them left. Will stop by here again while in the area.”

“Love Aldi's! Their fruits and produce lasts longer than other stores! The prices are hard to beat! They have a lot of different hummus to choose from! A lot of healthy foods and snacks, egg white wraps, kombucha. And the 2 middle aisles are seasonal items, from hammocks to candles! The meats are really good and a lot cheaper than other stores!”
“Great place to shop for groceries with good prices. They have a rewards program where you can get special deals on select items. Also they have two "tiers" of their own brand of merchandise which is good and inexpensive. Plenty of parking and two sizes of buggies (shopping carts for all you yankees!) They also have specialty items like Kombucha for all you health-conscious people.”
“Contrary to Gail’s experience, mine has been awesome with the furry guy on aisle 6!! He was friendly, had a good attitude and smiled so I could see his teeth.
Anyway, being a human is exhausting…. Have you ever thought that? Perhaps being a zombie is the better option. If Gail has a cloud hanging over her head, shouldn’t we show a little empathy for people who might be tired (especially those that work!) and not to bash them on a Google review? Food for thought ….I am at this food Lion quite frequently, at least 5 times a week and I appreciate every single one of those souls working hard ?”

“Wish the meat deals were like they use to be. But all the cashiers are nice! It’s super small so can be hard to move around if it’s busy and it’s always clean and neat and cold in there! ( the cold is a plus for me! Not everyone would like it though!)”
“I just came in the store for some Lipton onion dry soup mix. An associate named Devonta asked if he could help me find anything. I said yes sir. He took me right to the item I was looking for. 5 stars on this visit ! I sure appreciated the help. “Just went in yesterday to get seasoned chicken and beef. great service from the guys here. also has a taco truck beside the shop that has the best food in town. the ladies who cook the food are awesome at what they do. the food is great”

“As far as dollar generals go, this one is nicely kept and organized. I've seen some really poorly managed stores. One thing to keep an eye out for is the Best By dates on chips. I found multiple bags out of date here. Staff is good to pull them and are very friendly!”
“This location has many different products and although they do not carry everything I've looked for, they do have most things. As with most stores they move stuff around from time to time so it can be difficult to navigate, buy the service representatives are friendly and will help you find what you are looking for. I have shopped here for many years now, ever since this location was built (I used to shop at the old location just about a quarter mile from this current location). They are bigger and better than the old location. I also get my medicine here and they are usually fast and courteous, sometimes they have a long line waiting but they try to get the meds out quickly while paying attention to each customer and their individual needs. I definitely recommend shopping here.”

“I'm country but studied in a professional rank, showed up in jeans-kiltie shoes & a white dress shirt...bought a load of tomatoes to bring home to make salsa stock baggies for the freezer.. Cost, $14.99.He slides ne back change.. a penny & a $10. Spot.. without thinking I say no- handing it back for tge right bill- a $5...Didn't think much about it initially but- he's a sharp fellow..He was sizing me up-I appreciate hus style..God Bless the Country Folks...??”
