The woman working the am/afternoon shift 4/8/2024 was rude & very unhelpful!!!! Did not try to answer any of my questions/ concerns ????? absolutely will NOT start service with them!

The service is horrible and reception sucks!! we have phone service and Wi-Fi through US cellular and half the time it does not even work!!To make matters worse when we went to the Appomattox location and purchased my iPhone 14 through associate Nicole, she proceeded to hand me the new phone and asked me to put in my Apple ID password and never told me what it was for other than transferring my data from my old phone to my new one, and she proceeded to put in my husband’s name, bank account information including account number and routing number and charge a reoccurring charge for upgraded iCloud storage that I did not authorize for!! Upon seeing the charges on his bank account I called the store and talk to Nicole after receiving a receipt of the charges and where the charges came from and Nicole hang up on me!!!The most horrible service and customer service that I’ve ever experienced in my life !!!!I do not recommend US cellular to anyone !!!!!!

Incredible, knowledgeable staff. Now to address a couple of the negative reviews. A 30 minute or more wait is average in a cell store if all the associates are working on opening a new line for a customer, working to fix an issue on an intricate electronic device like a cell phone, reviewing a billing issue with a customer, etc. It's not a supermarket check out line. You would want the same attention for your issue, so don't complain about the wait. Be happy that the staff cares enough to work on the issues and will give your's the same attention. Secondly, US Cellular internet doesn't have power lines "I work for a cable company" lady. So where are they suppose to send a repair crew, the sky? Get over yourself, Karen and move on. Cell reception is probably not good in your g-ma's area, therefor her internet would be the same. If you feel you know more than the employees, go to USCC.Com. Look under the employment section. They are always hiring around the country. (And no, I do not work for the store, but have been a 30+ year customer. The Appomattox store has always gone the extra step in helping us & friends I know who use there service.) 5 BIG STARS!!!

I used US Cellular for several years for cell phone service. I had set up automatic payment so they could deduct the monthly bill directly from my checking account.I recently switched to Verizon because their service continuously got worse and worse. It seemed like they were throttling my internet down whenever they wished. I would call them and complain and then suddenly my internet service would noticeably improve. After I switched to Verizon they had already scheduled a payment to come out of my bank account the following month. I figured they would cancel the scheduled payment and didn't give it another thought,but that wasn't the case. They took the scheduled payment anyway which left me with a credit of around $80. I called them and asked them when I would receive my refund and they informed me that I would receive a prepaid card in the mail that is accepted everywhere. Well needless to say this sent me through the roof. Why should I have to deal with a prepaid card? I need to put this money back in my bank account not use it to buy something. I guess it was really convenient for them to deduct my bill from my bank account but very inconvenient for me to have to deal with a prepaid card when it comes to my refund. THIS SHOULD BE ILLEGAL!!!They are basically forcing me to spend my refund instead of redepositing the funds back into my bank account. VERY PISSED OFF!!!!!!I will never do business with US Cellular again and I would suggest others avoid this business
