“On my way to Fort Lee I stopped in Appomattox for a late lunch. Not knowing the town well, I asked a local, then found this place. Probably the best cheeseburger I have had in years, with delicious coleslaw & perfect sweet tea. Under $10.00, and the cook let me sample their chili & their macaroni salad. Outstanding all around, and super friendly, polite staff. Barring accidents & the crick gettin' up, I will eat there again.”
“The only reason I am rating this a four star, is because my previous experiences were much better than today's experience.Whoever fried the fish today, October 13th, 2003; fried the fish and old grease. My family was really looking forward to this fish and it was a big disappointment.Customer service is always excellent. The ladies are always polite and welcoming. But the fish was awful. However, the chicken looked REALLY good. I probably should have gotten some.”

“Stopped by for breakfast biscuit, I had heard the food was excellent, And it was delicious, I got a bacon, egg an cheese biscuit with tomato an mayo it was wonderful hot , fresh , cheese melted crisp bacon. The store is stocked with lots of things from snacks, food, hardware items, fishing supplies, amazing little store.”
