Biggest problem is not being able to speak to someone in the pharmacy. The automated system just hangs up instead of connecting you to an actual person that would be able to help you.

Run out of medications on a regular basis. People are nice but very disorganized when it comes to keeping stock. They don’t order medication until they are out so always 4 to 5 days late on receiving prescriptions. The meds I take are life threatening when not taken as prescribed, so they risk your life by not keeping adequate stock. This is all CVS pharmacy’s

Charged me more for meds with insurance than without. Can you say scam without saying scam?.The staff and pharmacists at this location are ignorant of Va law and are the rudest hourly employees I have had the misfortune of contacting.Customer service at the 800 number encouraged me to get a stranger off the street with an id to pick up my prescription the pharmacist was illegally refusing to release. I had appropriate ID and the pharmacist acknowledged she recognized me by site yet she still denied the release of my medication and was insulting in her denial. Needless to say, I want no longer use CVS in any state or county ever and I would encourage everyone else to do the same.To illegally, deny me my medication, and then have a employee encourage me to break the law is reprehensible. On top of their ignorance, they show their character by refusing to transfer my prescriptions to a new pharmacy. It speaks volumes of the lack of character of anyone at that particular store.

This CVS store #3515, has probably one of the least compassionate pharmacists I have ever had the misfortunate of dealing with. Recently a prescription was sent over by my physician on a Friday. I never received a call informing me my prescription was ready for pickup, so I called today, Monday 5/2/22, and was told it could not be filled. Why was I not notified about this so I could have addressed it earlier? Someone from CVS could have called me Friday afternoon or Saturday or even Sunday, but not one person in the pharmacy had the professionalism to let me know my prescription could not (more like would not) be filled. The phone encounter with the pharmacist on duty today was a terrible experience. She was "the only" pharmacist on duty and I could not speak to anyone else nor get a different store pharmacist to fill my prescription. It actually felt like I was being grilled by the secret police. This necessary prescription had previously been filled at this CVS multiple times with no issue, but for some reason, the female pharmacist today was not being very compassionate, nor was she providing a good customer experience. I would definitely say that if you have a prescription that is life or death, which this medication is, especially when you are having an angina attack, don't get it filled at this CVS location!!! Even if the price is more affordable, what good does it do if the pharmacist decides to play God and deny your medication order? I asked to speak to a supervisor but was told she didn't have one. Must be great to work in a healthcare business with no supervisor. Never in my life have I worked without someone supervising me. This pharmacist told me to call 1-800-Shop-CVS to get the information I requested about the head pharmacist, which I did. Um, wrong number pharmacy lady. That number is for extra care credits and stuff. I was politely transferred to the Corporate Pharmacy. The lack of enough licensed pharmacists in this store should never be an excuse for such rotten treatment. My prescription may not be but a drop in the bucket towards the profits CVS makes, but word of mouth is worth a whole lot more. Even after intervention by my personal care provider as the pharmacist wanted, she still refused to fill my prescription. Bye-bye CVS. I will never recommend this store pharmacy to anyone. The store itself is great, but not for important life-saving medications. Someone in the pharmacy needs training on dealing with upset customers to ease tensions and to actually hear what they are saying. When you've been recceiving your prescription there for quite some time with not one issue, I don't understand why today turned into WWIII and I never was able to get my prescription. Boo-hisss

One glaring problem with CVS is their text alert system never mentioned to bring our COVID-19 vaccination card with us in order to get the booster shot. The CVS text alert only mentioned to bring ID, insurance card(s) and face covering. In order to get this booster shot while at CVS in Appomattox VA on Friday, my friend who also was getting a booster shot helped me locate my COVID-19 vaccination history on the Virginia Department of Health website using his cell phone. No one in CVS pharmacy offered to locate that information online for me, and they obviously had easy internet access at this store! Finally, they relented and let me proceed with getting the booster shot after I showed them proof online from my cell phone of my two prior COVID shots. What an ordeal! It took a lot of persistence, and I’m thankful to get this done!

Prescriptions are never ready upon arrival, even though they show ready online. You can count on being told it’s going to be a 20 to 30 minute wait to get them filled, even when picking up a day later.Save yourself some headache and shop local. I’ve never had an issue with Appomattox Drugstore right down the road.

I've come here for quite awhile. First time using my VA benefits to pick up some prescriptions, and was shooed away with rude help. As a Veteran, Im not asking for a "thanks for your service", just a little respect, like any other customer that comes in.

Worst customer service of a pharmacy that I have ever dealt with. I was calling in a prescription for a patient and speaking to a pharmacy tech and they just cut me off mid sentence and sent me to voicemail and then didnt bother to even call me back that day. They waited until a whole different day to even call back because they said they couldnt hear all the voicemail. I was litereally already speaking to a person so this never should have been a problem. But CVS is always difficult to work with so I'm not surprised
