Honestly every time I step into any of these stores, ESPECIALLY this one, I feel extremely uncomfortable... im not sure if she was the manager or something but my gosh.. first second we stepped in shes hovering over my friend and I watching over our shoulders from all corners of the store. We happened to be around the area and decided to window shop as we had some time and energy to spare. I decided to go to "thefaceshop" only because I love to look at beauty and skin products, especially korean ones. I already suffer from anxiety and the owners and the workers are no help when it comes to this. Im sure this wont affect the store much but I dont think ill be going to any of their locations anymore. I can literally FEEL her staring at me. She would even come close to us to see what we had in OUR HANDS. I already saw this coming and kept my arms crossed and close to me, that way, she could potentially leave us alone. I thought If i didnt move my arms a single inch, shed know I had no interest in touching or buying anything.. i just hate that im sorry. Please do better and if youre going to watch every customer that walks into the store, at least be discreet about it. It was the most unpleasant experience ive had so far and trust me, NOBODY likes to be watched and accused of something thats not. I would NEVER steal from anyone and this really upset me.

As a Korean customer, I am fully aware that prices at local shops can be higher compared to Korean stores or even Amazon. Despite this, I chose to support a local small business and purchased several products, understanding that I was paying a premium.
However, my experience has been nothing short of disappointing. I purchased a lash curler that turned out to be defective. When I requested a refund, the owner or staff flatly refused, stating that because I had opened and used the product once, they could no longer sell it to another customer. This was said without even bothering to check if the product was malfunctioning or assessing its functionality.
While they did apologize, it was clear that the apology was only for denying my refund. I am now left with a malfunctioning lash curler and a bitter taste from this entire experience.
To anyone considering buying from this shop—don't. The poor customer service and refusal to stand by their products are simply not worth it. Save your money and avoid the frustration. You're better off buying from Amazon or supporting other businesses that actually value their customers.
Supporting local businesses is important, but not when they fail to provide even the most basic level of customer care. I regret giving this shop my business and strongly advise others to steer clear.

The shop is clean and well organized. There are a lot of Korean cosmetic and beauty products. The staff is helpful.

The prices at this store are pretty high compared to online Korean skincare prices. Every time I come in, the staff hover around and are passive aggressive and not welcoming.

I have always liked The faceshop store especially the ones in Asia. I was ecstatic when I found one here in this area, since I like buying my goods on a Brick and mortar store. I only came in here 2 times and I have a few things to say about my visits.(1) The first time I visited, I was glad that they gave me a discount on my purchases - only to find out that 1 out of the 3 items I got was pass the expiration date. I gave them a leeway since maybe it was mistake, but on hindsight should be a huge red flag. (2) Second, their prices are obscenely overpriced, almost twice the usual. I get that there should be some kind of a markup since it's an imported good but 200% markup is ridiculous. I didn't mind the price since I really need it ASAP since my package hasn't arrived yet.(3) My recent visit, the costumer service is really just not a 5-star treatment and nothing to write about. I know I shouldn't be expecting much since it's not some luxury store, but they're not the most warmest and they come off very rude.I love Asian beauty products and though the store is nice but the staff and overall experience is just not the best.Overall, unless you need to pick-up something ASAP and don't mind what others said on their reviews - I guess you can take your chances but if you're trying to get your money's worth and not have a chance to be sold an expired item then I recommend you take your business elsewhere. I recommend Yesstyle or Oliveyoung site.

The workers in this store made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I came in to ask if they carried a moisturizer that I had been in search for, and when I realized they didn’t, I decided to continue browsing the store and eventually picked up a perfume. The workers kept following me close and were each standing on every side of me and watching me closely. I was showing ZERO signs that I was going to do anything unethical. I didn’t even carry a bag/purse on me. Literally just my phone. I felt so uncomfortable that I just hurried to check out just so I could leave.
