I highly recommend this place. This salon deserves more recognition. It's an amazing salon but it doesn't advertise much, so I felt it necessary to share my experience.
Catherine, the owner, is one of the best stylists in the DMV area. I’ve tried other salons in Annandale and Fairfax, but while their haircuts are expensive, the satisfaction level is usually low. Their perm styling is also subpar, and if it's decent, the price is exorbitant.
I've been going to this salon for a little over 7 years, and I always end up returning to Catherine.
Her prices are reasonable, she uses high-quality products, and she delivers excellent service. If you’re not looking for the latest styles (popular among young people) but want a consistently good haircut, this is the place to go.
Highly recommended. I'm a pretty picky customer type. I think Dr. Catherine is one of the best people in the DMV (since I haven't been to all the hair salons). I've been to other hair salons like Annandale and Fairfax, but the haircuts are expensive and I'm not very satisfied. The perm styling isn't that great, but if you think it's okay, the price is very expensive. I've been going to Nemiraji for a little over 7 years, and I've tried other hair salons in the meantime, but I always come back to Director Catherine. The price is reasonable, they use good medicine, and they do it with good sense. If you want the latest styles popular among those in their 20s or if your expectations are not too high, this is the hair shop where everything is reasonable and satisfactory.

Let me tell you guys don’t ever come here as a woman for your haircut or a blow dry or hairstyle.!
Very unprofessional Lady assaulted me because I didn’t agree with the blow dry hairstyle she gave me I was very disappointed( not pleased )and I told her three times about it while she was trying to fix it. She wouldn’t let go of my hair and even flung it and though down her straightener on the rack so Aggressively and angry after the last time that I told her please let go of my hair.
The shampoo lady did a good job of cleaning the hair but it was soo uncomfortable She also rushed through washing my hair that water started to leak thru and the towel she had on my shoulders and she did not condition my hair at all so it made the hair even more un-manageable to style. They didn’t want to use any products for my hair and they rushed through it. The lady that was doing my hair had another one come and help her with my hair this rushed through it, please do not come here as they do not care about you, but only your money, and even though I was assaulted and my hair got pulled By the hairstylist out of frustration because I told her that my hair looked too puffy and dry and that the hairstyle didn’t come out right she got very upset with me!
I felt in danger in this place I will never recommend anyone to go there!! I think that the lady doing my hair was actually the owner but yes please be carful! This place is not worth spending money or time !

Jessica has been cutting my hair for over 3 years, and she is simply great. Highly recommend. My wife gets her hair permed and gets "coating" by Jessica, and she is happy with the results.

excellent place if u need a hair style, shampoo & blow dry. however, the worst place for highlights, they can fried your hair & get u bold. they are not careful to provide a good care, not to focus coloring & taking time to watch the dying; our experience was awful. it is sad but they dont know how to perform a highlight the owner is losing her mind & doing very poor haircut, not even & awful layers. be careful you will be very disappointed.

I’m a regular at this hair salon since I’ve moved to the DMV region because I appreciate Catherine’s sense of style. I don’t believe I’m the only one who feels this way, as I consistently see familiar clients whenever I visit. She fully listens to my requests and makes considerations as needed. I love the results I get from a cut or a perm from this salon and don’t plan on going to any other. The place has accessible parking and the prices are very fair. It does get very busy every time I visit, but I believe it speaks to the stylists’ skills.

terribly cut hair. asked for a face frame and the 2 sides came out uneven. she basically chopped my hair off and the ends aren’t even evenly cut. Didn’t even take the time to wash hair, and took minimal time to cut it. Only about 10 minutes to cut hair, which explains the poor results. Do NOT recommend.
