Believe it or not, I went here in search of baby octopus (fresh) to prepare for dinner tonight as an appetizer. The store was very well miss out, clean and shelves (as well as seafood, produce and pasta) were well stocked in decidedly Korean, Chinese, Japanese and Thai locality specialties. The fishmonger communicated with me through hand gestures and I helped myself to selecting the octopi that I wanted and I was on my way after grabbing a package of shabu shabu frozen meat. The selection is terrific. The quality is excellent and the store is run safely and efficiently. I'm looking forward to being a return customer!

Around a 30-minute drive from Southeast DC, this location is a little smaller than the Falls Church location but still carries many staples- kimchi, pho supplies, milk tea, and more. There's a produce aisle and aisles of all types of food.

DO NOT SHOP THERE.yesterday, I went to ready food sectionand bought close to 40 dollars worthof ready to eat food2 Korean chicken1 japcha1 Korean kimchi pancakes1 pork bean stew---------------------------THE WORST KOREAN FOOD I HAVEEVER TASTED. ALL OF THEM WENT IN THE GARBAGE,It used to be much better.Must have new cook or something.DO NOT PICK UP READY MADE FOODTHERE. YOU WOULD BE VERY DISAPOINTED.Beside that one of the most obnoxious cashieryou would encounter anywhere. No, greetingno smiles, no thank you for shopping. They just ring up your stuff and expect you toleave as soon as possible. There are other choices. No bargains there either. Price is higher, thanGlobal Market in Springfield or anywhere else.Do you self a favor and go somewhere else toshop.

Not sure if H Marts in Virginia are different but there's usually a food court or small restaurant in the ones I usually go to. This didn't really ruin the experience however, staff are all pretty friendly and the selection is what's usually expected at an H-mart.

Crustiest h-mart in the area. Only come here if you truly are in need of something last minute. Every time I walk in I feel as if I'm risking something by just breathing in the air

Be aware of beef and mixed vegetables soup. This is what came out from the container. There is no beef, just ham and hot dog pieces and tofu. There are very few slices of pinions, and nothing else.

I'm a fan of this location. I come here every couple of months to stock up on rabbit for my delicate flower of a dog who seems to be allergic to most proteins. Produce is generally good and reasonably priced! Scallions and cilantro are in better shape than what you see at Aldi and even a bit cheaper. Every once in a while you can find some nice fruit on sale as well. I got a box of strawberries for $1.99 today. Sashimi is also really good quality! I took a chance and was really surprised that it was actually decent. You can also get pretty much any Asian sauce under the sun. I picked up both ponzu sauce and spicy mayo in case the sashimi wasn't great ;)

Expired oat milk. This H mart continues to disappoint with expired products. We just bought the oat milk yesterday to make coffee. Me and husband had a stomachache all day and found out this morning that the oat milk is expired. Of course we didn't keep the receipt. I doubt they would do anything for you without it! Not the first time buying molded and expired foods from here!
