“I had the privilege of attending Word of Life Church, and I must say, it's an incredible place. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was warmly welcomed, and it felt like I was part of a big, loving family. The sense of community and togetherness at this church is truly remarkable. The pastors and congregation make you feel right at home, and their genuine care for each member is evident in everything they do. The sermons are not only spiritually enriching but also relatable to our daily lives.Word of Life Church is a place where you can grow spiritually, build meaningful relationships, and experience the love and support of a wonderful church family. I couldn't recommend it more highly; it's a true sanctuary where you feel surrounded by love and embraced as part of the family.”
“Wonderful church! They focus on being part of the community and teaching the Bible in ways that people understand, especially people that don’t currently go to church. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to belong. The small groups are a great way to meet people and dive even deeper into the weekly messages. There are numerous opportunities to serve others in the community and within the church.”

“Heard Bro Kenny preach at a youth rally I went to a number of summers ago and have continued to be blessed by his ministry from afar through listening to his sermons online. If I'm ever up in that area, I will definitely be worshipping at Crossroads!”
“Been going to this church for 15 years! I love how father Tim does his sermons and he’s the reason I stay going to this church. Very welcoming of all people despite color, ethnicity, sexual orientation, etc. ❤️”
“Beautiful, historical, family church. The members are very welcoming and Pastor Cheeks is known for bringing a mighty word from God!! You can't go wrong in choosing to worship here! I highly recommend this Church.”

“Went there to participate in the Rise Against Hunger project. Together, the group of volunteers portioned out, sealed, and boxed 10,000 meals. Wonderful mix of community with church members and area Girl Scouts. I felt good knowing my daughter and I gave something back that is desperately needed. This time made me realize there still are decent and big hearted people in the area.”

“12/14/22This past Sunday on 12/11/22 we (my wife and I) took a trip back to The Journey Church. I like how laid back they are on the dress code for Church. Dressing up to go to Sunday School/Church rubbed me the wrong way. If I wasn't comfortable in what I wore, my attention to church was nonexistent. This is when I was much younger. Still today I am glad to see Church goers wearing everyday clothing and not necessarily the monkey suit.Anyhow, after talking with the pastor for the second time, I find him very laid back and cool to talk to. In the back of my mind i wondered what could be today's lesson in church? Today's Lesson: The StormHave you ever had a personal storm in your life? Well today's lesson. Started out with how weather people...no,...meteorologist decided to name storms after women. This was later changed to men an women's name. Some of the names of selected storms have a deeper meaning than others. The lesson in short was to keep hope in what you do, because without hope, you might be battling a storm physically, mentally or both for a long time.I don't go to Church very often, but this place gives off good vibes even if I still don't know many of the people there. My wife says the main reason for being there is God. Anything else is an added bonus. I am not as into the Lord as she is, but I will say this. The music, how I feel then I am there and the history of lessons learned keep me coming back for more. I find it fascinating how things I learned in school, specifically Western/Eastern Civilization and American History had bites and peices of things I am now hearing from The Bible.I am moving at a snail's pace come paired to my wife. Yet I don't believe there is a set speed for religion. If there is, my God will have to have patience. Still, I am on a Journey of self discovery. Who knows what I will discover next week.”
“This is a Christ centered church! Very welcoming staff and church body. Humble Pastors and engaging messages. Excellent Young adult community on Tuesday nights as well!!”
“Mt Pleasant Baptist church, is awesome. I truly love that church. Pastor Johnson and first Lady Johnson are a beautiful couple. If you want to hear an up lifted word from God, Pastor Johnson will give it to you”
“I love my Church; the Staff; and all the members of CRBC. I have been a member of the Church since 1989. I have grown in my relationship with Christ; I’m a better person, father, grandfather and neighbor. I look forward to attending Services on Wednesday and Sunday of each week and other activities. CRBC is my church home and family. Give it a try and allow God to draw you closer in your daily walk.”
“David Platts blue print for foster care ministries and his heart for the children/orphans and widows in our communities has spurred me on in ways I can’t describe. God has given your church a special mission in transforming our foster care system and our care for the elderly. He’s using y’all! I’ve learned about Jesus in the realest of ways through the lives your leadership and church live out every a day, even from miles away. Your blueprint for foster care ministries is a genius idea! Thankful for your obedience to the lord! Proud of what y’all do for the kingdom- keep shining! #HopeforOne”
“Excellent church with good and kind people. The shepherds are good and charismatic and the diversity makes it a great place. With praise services in English and Spanish with verses in Spanish for preaching, it makes this house of God a great blessing for the community.”
“It is not a review ! But I would like to share and testify for the glory of the lord Jesus Christ and his works and what he has one for me!Jesus Visited me on August 6, 2022 on his clouds . !( first appearance at 9:30 am )قدوس قدوس قدوس ! He showed up in the same age of his resurrection .? with his white dress , white scarve over his head and his bown eyes full of annocence , light of holy spirit .His looks showed like someone was saying “Iam God and I came to encourage you that Iam with you seeing everything happenig with you.” As I was going through violent spiritual warefare between Satan and his psychics to stop them from killing me .He showed up again at 3:30 pm with his face and carrying the cross and Iam seeing his face in the sky from the window of my bedroom while his angles delivering me from the spells of psychics and spiritualists who attacked me without stopping THEN he showed up for the third and last time at 11:30 pm in the left corner of living room while Iam not able to sleep because of the witchcraft that people and psychics from all the world was throwing on me ( spiritualists and psychics that I dealt with because I wanted to balance my chakras and believed in energy healing which It is the most dangerous things to do , and everyone should stay away from energy healing, spiritualists , psychics and crystal stones ) .**** In addition to his holy angels with their holy swords ( right hand) and holy fire ( left hand ) delivering me from the devil, evil spirits which does not love the Christ ( GOD THE SON) ,then I saw the head of the lord Jesus Christ ( having Thistle collar over his head ) show up again while Jesus's angels working on taking the evil spirits out , and Jesus 's angels SAID " holy holy holy holy holy" . And I start laughing with the angels when they did the deliverance .قدوس قدوس قدوس قدوسصاحب السلطان على الارض والسماواتاحبك احبك احبك احبك احبك احبك يا يسوعععع احبك يا يسوع”
“TLM several times a week. Always receive the Blessed Sacrament kneeling at the altar rail. Fr Pollard and Fr Melmer are wonderful. 6:30 and 8:30 AM Masses weekdays. Excellent conservative parish.”
“We love so many things about Adat Reyim. It is a small congregation but with so many activities and programs to choose from. The synagogue is so inclusive and welcoming. The members are so kind, warm, and giving of their time and friendship. My kids are thriving in the religious school and my daughter became a Bat Mitzvah earlier this year. We love the monthly folk service and annual events like the ShaBBQ, Latkes and Lights, and the Purim Schpiel!”
“Absolutely love the new coffee shop. I'm not a coffee drinker but there are options for the rest of us too. Got a hot chocolate my last time visiting, absolutely perfect. It's a fantastic place to catch up with friends, loads of space, really comfortable furniture, and a peaceful vibe that compels you to come back again, soon.”
“I remember as a child how the Salvation Army helped veterans with job training and helped those with housing insecurities find shelter. As a social worker, I have had great experiences reaching out to the Salvation Army for assistance with my clients. The people that work and volunteer for this organization really care!”
“I love to go thrifting with my girls. Found the prettiest kimono accessory at this Salvation Army. Great prices and efficient friendly workers with a lot of nice, quality items to choose from at this location.”
“Ravensworth is a welcoming family who shows love to everyone, no matter where you are on your journey or your age/race/sexuality/gender/you-name-it. I’ve never heard any of the “hate the sin, love the sinner” nonsense either. The focus is Jesus, love, and standing up for those who can’t, not strict fundamentalism- don’t let the “Baptist” fool you. :)”
