I'm embarrassed to say that I've lived in Annandale for 30 years and I just today discovered this shop through Yelp. I needed a battery replaced in my watch, which they did quickly and for a fair price. It definitely beats running out to Tysons, which I've done before. I learned today that the shop has been in Annandale almost as long as I have. If I have future needs for watch repair or for a new watch, this is going to be my first choice. As an Annandale resident, I intend to support good local businesses. I'm sorry I didn't know about this shop in the past but I intend to correct that oversight in the future.

This little store gets the job done. I fixed two of my watches here and the price was fair.

They're very honest and do a wonderful job repairing, even very expensive watches. I've taken my Rolex to them, and been very satisfied with their services. Would highly recommend.

Consistently good experience over many years. Excellent on repairs--not only battery replacement but cleaning and overhauling old mechanical watches including some quite valuable ones. They also have a wide selection of new and used watches for sale. Pleasant and easy to work with.

August 2022 I brought a watch in for repair; was given a price of $150. October 2022, I brought the same watch in for repair and was told the costs is $400; thought I heard wrong. Told this is due to inflation/price increase. They seemed like a very honest small mom and pop establishment but hey, don’t let that smile cloud your judgment. I’m all for supporting small businesses but they do more harm to themselves due to greed. I can see me going back to them saying the watch is still not working and them charging me for the repairs they would have done! Total rip-off! Gave 1 star because that the lowest rating available

I loved the service and found some beautiful old clocks for sale. I just needed a watch repair, which was taken care of very well, but I'm planning a trip back to shop for old clocks!

Brought in a mechanical Seiko 5 from the early 70s that I impulse bought from Goodwill. The watchmaker here had it fixed up in a little less than a month (you can expect to wait about this long at any shop that fixes mechanical watches) and handed it back to me with a new crystal and gasket to boot!Since then, I've worn it every day for three months and the thing keeps the time the watchmaker said it would (amazing, considering this watch looked as if the previous owner (or owners) didn't service it once in the 50+ years since it left the factory).Usually, the watch gains about two minutes in two weeks, at which point I just set it to the nearest minute my phone is showing. I do cheat a little by putting the watch crown-down when I go to bed at night - causes it to run a bit slow, compared with a bit fast when it's on my wrist.Highly, highly recommend this shop. Their prices are good, at least compared with everyone else in the D.C. area.I don't know exactly who needs to hear this, but based on other reviews, it seems worth saying: this is primarily a service center for mechanical watches. Yeah, the guy will add or remove a link from your bracelet or change your band or battery if you ask, but you can do that with a $15 kit from Amazon. And you should. Or if you can't, the watch kiosk in the mall can.Fixing up a mechanical watch takes time, is hard and requires specialized tools. It all adds up to a bit of a wait and a bit of money. I didn't ask for any polishing of my bracelet or case, but that's not always something you can expect from a watchmaker. It's not a Jiffy Lube oil jockey profession. It's more like Rolls Royce repair.Last, I don't know where people are coming from with customer service complaints, but the folks in this shop are super friendly, can answer all your questions and call you when they say they will.

After reviewing jewelry repair shops in Eden Center it was a blessing to find Annandale Watch & Clock. The high reviews are based on truth! I haven't had the easiest time trying to replace my Movado watch band with the butterfly clip and a color that is close to royal blue. I stepped in and the service was friendly, informative, and kind. They helped me find a blue band that would work and went over the risks of trying to use the butterfly clip. We gave it shot, got the battery replaced and all within 30 minutes for a VERY reasonable price. I am highly satisfied with my experience and strongly recommend them to anyone who needs help with watch purchases or service.

I've had them fix three old clocks of ours we were sentimentally attached to. They do good work. Just be aware they won't have them ready for you same day... They evaluate, get the supplies they need, then do the fix and call you when it's done.
