I’m not sure why the pharmacy has little staff but When everyone is piling up in drive thru and the pharmacy desk is overwhelmed It’s a hectic situation for the staff .
One tech and no staff member Having to pull from front to help in pharmacy .
This is this is the closest pharmacy to my house and I have no idea why they can’t keep staff and have help .
CVS needs to do better I was really concerned when the pharmacist couldn’t keep up and had to do the Covid shots too .
This isn’t the first time
And the rudeness here lately With all my medication I feel that I'm being stigmatized because I take suboxone at walgreens or ccs wards road they filled 2 days early .
But altavista pharmacy will only fill on that date .
The techs are hateful the management 🙄 sucks If I only had transportation to lynchburg and this wasn't the only pharmacy that carried the medicine I take .
I would switch .
This is getting out of hand .

This CVS IS TERRIBLE! Rude, lackluster attitude, don't get your orders right. Just terrible!! I would not recommend them to anyone. I'm going to change to another pharmacy. I'm tired of all the times I've had to wait in the drive thru, call about prescriptions not being filled on time, and attitude you get from the staff. Not to mention, they NEVER get the fax from the doctor! I'm really surprised that they got a 2.1 average. It's more like .0021!

This is the slowest place I’ve ever seen. It takes forever to pick up my meds. Sometimes the pharmacy doesn’t even open.

I am getting a call to my cell on a daily basis about a prescription for "Shirley" when I call the store they just say call the 1-800 number. It's not me or corp that has put this number in the system wrong, it's a Altavista employee. So a couple weeks have gone by and Shirley is still waiting on her meds. They don't even try to fix it themselves, they could call the 1-800 number and fix it. BAD customer service!

They need to close all CVS stores down The one in Brookneal va and AltaVista va is terrible. The one in South Boston Virginia is fairly decent

They are never open, they never have staff and have poor attitudes. You need a prescription for an illness right away but can’t ever get them until days later because it’s closed EVERY single time we go!!! Prescriptions are constantly lost when faxed to them and the dr will have to send it 3-5 times before they actually get it. I’ve never dealt with a cvs ran so poorly as this one.

Slowest place EVER. You get told another 20mins then another 20mins repeatedly. Staff are rude and unfriendly.
