First time visit and things were awesome! Staff was Friendly and very good with my Lil Girl❣️Dr was very Sweet and she explained things so you understood what was happening and was Not Pushy on things that could wait. She wasn’t just about the $$, She Actually cares for the Babies and that’s the kind of Vet Drs we Need!! Will Definitely Be bringing my Baby girl there from now on!

I am writing to express my concerns regarding the emergency care services at your facility. On two separate occasions, I have been told that your clinic was too busy to attend to my animals, who required immediate medical attention.
Being an Altavista resident, it's disappointing that I cannot rely on my local animal hospital to be there for my pets when they need it the most.
For anyone requiring immediate veterinary attention, I would advise considering the Gretna clinic. Although they were also booked up, they still allowed me to bring my pets and monitored them until a Vetenarian became available.

Just love this great country veterinarian. They were very kind, Clinic was nice welcoming, easy to get to the prices were right on point. My little dog just loved them there.

Highly recommend Altavista animal hospital! The staff are extremely sweet and friendly. They went above and beyond for my 2 year old GSD and I. One of the quickest vet visits I’ve experienced, don’t let the quickness of the vist fool you they were still very thorough and listened to any concerns or questions I had without rushing me. They let you stay with your pet for the process of checkup and shot (never expected that before and it was lovely to be able to see how my dog actually behaved so I know what I need to work on with him for futuer visits) If you’re new to the area or looking to switch vets this is the place to take your four legged babies. The overall cost was very reasonable priced as well.

Took my dog for a dental procedure, they were kind and caring to my girl. She came home a happy dog and is doing excellent now her front teeth aren't bothering her. Thank you to all that helped my girl to feel better. I appreciate you all.
