I ordered a table in March, with a 10 day delivery status. I don’t get any emails with updates or the actual table so I’ve called customer service within 10 days. They proceed to say they will check and get back to me. No one reaches out so I call yet again within a couple days - get the same answer. So I wait - however yet again no one reaches out. I finally call once more and they tell me it’s showing it will be delivered in 3 weeks. (At which point 3 weeks already had gone by so I have to wait another 3 weeks). Once the 3 weeks go by I yet again hear nothing so follow up - I have the director of customer service telling me the exact same lie and to wait another 2-3 weeks. At this point I’ve been waiting close to two months WITH NO END in sight. I haven’t been able to order another table as I’m being held with this one by extending 1-2 weeks each time. At this point I can reorder the table for a 30% discount and it’s showing a faster delivery. They won’t honor the discount currently going on on their site nor deliver my table. WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced. Cannot say enough bad things at how disrespectful they have been.

A hidden gem in Alexandria! Awesome customer service and great selections. I bought a faux shearling gray sofa. Everyone comments on how comfortable and beautiful it is. Great place to find unique looking furniture.

Gus and his team are great! We needed long term storage for furniture for a home under construction. They received items, cataloged them, and later delivered/staged everything perfectly.

Was looking for a LONG time for a contemporary style sectional sofa, to replace my Ekornes Stressless sofa that was approaching 20 years in age. Found exactly what I was looking for on Z Modern Furniture's website - the 625 by J&M Furniture. Wife and I visited the store in Alexandria to try it out - it passed the sit test, so we pulled the trigger. Gus arranged to have our old sofa removed for a very reasonable fee. Delivery / removal day went off without a hitch, just over a week from placing our order. Luis and Bryan were super professional - disassembling our Ekornes to ensure it would fit through our narrow stairway, and carefully hauling our new sofa up said stairway without a scratch. Wife and I couldn't be more pleased. We'll be ordering from Z Modern Furniture in the future, and recommend it to anyone who likes contemporary furniture.

Z furniture delivered furniture to my son's house in Washington DC. I found them on the internet. They were very responsive and very professional every step of the way. As soon as the furntiure arrived at their warehouse, they were immediately in contact with me and delivered the furniture the next day! I would highly recommend Gus and his crew. They helped me with a long distance move, providing warehouse space for deliveries while I wasn't there. Then they went out of their way to deliver my items on a Sunday, when they don't usually work. Showed up smiling & went the extra mile to help unload and set up all my furniture. Super great!! Very nice to work with a small kind and caring business.

I had never thought about going the custom furniture route, but am happy I did. Gus made easy and kept me Informed every step of the way in reference to updates on when my bedroom would be arriving, and when it did, it was exactly as presented in the catalog pics. I absolutely loved the experience and will never shop for furniture from a conventional store. I love my new bedroom!! Thanks Gus!!

I recently ordered a Murphy cabinet from Z Modern Furniture, purchased it over the phone, directly from Gus. He was able to get it delivered the next day. Unfortunately, it was damaged and did not close properly. I contacted Gus, he was very professional, and asked that I send some pictures of the damage. After receiving the pictures, he scheduled delivery of a new unit, and had his delivery staff verify that unit was 100% before they left. Top notch customer service, will shop again from Z & Gus!

I ordered a item from their website on 8/23. First it was weird that you have to wait for an email to get a delivery charge. Never received an email!!! Called them and he said his system was down and would call me back, he never did.

I love Z Modern Furniture! 10 years ago I bought a unique and gorgeous white leather sofa. The leather quality was premium. Recently, I bought an extra firm mattress. The management team was great communicated with me. From accepting my order to delivering the bed. It was such a pleasure working with this team and I love my mattress! My mom got one too. Mr. Gus was beyond amazing and exudes incredible customer service. We came in and he didn’t pressure us to make a decision on the spot, he answered all of our questions without showing signs of frustration and delivered on his word. Our sectional was delivered on time (in fact before time) and was assembled together quickly and without damage. Mr. Gus ensured us that our items would be delivered on time and he was 100% correct. We highly recommend this place. Also, remember - not all great reviews get posted so don’t be swayed by some of those outdated reviews as we were in the beginning. So glad we chose to go into the store and see for ourselves as we are extremely happy with our purchase and the price paid for a great quality Italian leather sectional!
