I really liked using Yates until my most recent oil change in late spring. Unbeknownst to me, they didn’t tighten the cap back on. I didn’t realize this until the oil had completely drained out as I drove it—a dangerous situation for the engine. When I went back, there was no apology. They did fill up the oil. Out of concern, I took my car to the dealer to have the engine checked for damage. There, they discovered that Yates had overfilled the oil this time and it was all over the engine. After several calls, I finally got a hold of a manager who offered one free oil change, but did not acknowledge the possible damage to my engine nor the expense incurred with the inspection. Since then, I have not been able to reach the manager nor receive a call back.
Additionally, as part of the oil change, they took a look at my brakes. Is that standard? They said my brakes did not pass their inspection and gave me a quote for the work I needed to have done. Fortunately, I has my brakes checked at my Honda dealer. The dealer said they were fine ?Very disappointing service.

I have been taking my Lincoln since 2012 and have always been satisfied for the most part - in the beginning you had great people working there who valued their work and had great customer service. Now it is night and day different. The people working there don't do their job right and they don't seem to care AT ALL. I had to remind the guy (Floyd) to do everything that was included in an oil change. I asked him if he checked all the fluids and with an attitude he said yeah but I didn't see him check anything other than walk around doing nothing. Then, I asked him if he had checked the tires and he quickly turned around mumbling something and went ahead and checked my tires. (Who knows if he did it right) He had really back gestures and his demeanor was intolerable. I had to remind him how to do his job. I WILL NOT BE TAKING MY CAR BACK TO THIS PLACE. Its so sad to let go but as a business owner my self, I know how important customer service is and if you don't train or hire the right people no matter if you have to go through 100 candidates then your business will fail. Not sure if you (management/owner) will care at all about this, but you WILL loose money if you don't do anything about it!!!

Katie, the manager, was super helpful and very personable. She was able to answer my questions without making me feel like an idiot. Excellent service as usual!

Workers giving conflicting instructions which extended my stay. Some workers exhibited a poor attitude and seemed interested in providing service.

Always great service and friendly staff. There is a dedicated state inspection station making it super convenient. Yates also offers an express service at reasonable prices.

At nearly EVERY other car place I've been, SOMEONE has tried to oversell me on something or was not honest with me and thought I wouldn't know. It was extremely refreshing to get the opposite here! Honest people who know how to do the job!

I had my car inspection done here. The crew was friendly and quick to serve. If you're getting work done, stop in the convenience shop for some free coffee and treats. They make your wait quite enjoyable.. hope this helps.
