Disgusting place. Roaches in the sauna. Smell in shower area is nasty. Paper is everywhere on a floor. Hard to cancel membership.

Not sure what has happened but cleanliness of the facilities and the condition of the equipment is horrible. Many of the machines are broken and have been for months, equipment is left in random places, and the bathrooms are dirty with broken fixtures. This site was bought by LA Fitness a few months ago so I could be that XSport stopped caring long before they sold it or that LA Fitness just doesn’t care about this location, not sure which it is. I like the location for the convenience to my home and had a multi year contract. Now I am just waiting for the contract to end so I can go someplace else. Planet Fitness would be an improvement over this place at this point.

The worst place i ever visited. Never ever get membership here . If u are creating a second job to in ur life and keep asking them for those hidden fees they are charging then go for it. If not don't do it

Worse place ever now. I was there for a few years and left I came back about 2 months ago worse customer service and gym is the worse. Worse part is we keep putting bad reviews and no one tries to answer questions and concerns. We are still paying and this people working there are still getting paid to do their job and act like we have to take their crap. DO YOUR JOB RIGHT. WE ARE PAYING.

This place is disgusting. The prior reviews are 1000000% accurate. I can somewhat deal with old equipment but this place is gross. Escalator grooves are filthy. I go into the locker room to place my bag there and I just figured when I leave there will be something crawling around in my bag. Roaches. Paper all over the floor. I think streets outside in NYC are cleaner than this place inside. Do not go here!

I belonged to this gym 2016-2019 and enjoyed my experience for the price. I recently came back given a free 3 day pass and can’t say the same.
The people working at the front desk were incredibly rude. I got eye rolls and laughs when I showed my guest pass when I was *finally* allowed in.
The gym itself is depressing. It is dark and in the basement. The equipment is dirty.
Bottom line- I was excited to return here for classes that I used to enjoy and won’t be returning due to the exceptionally rude staff and overall disarray of the gym.

Has got to be the WORST shape I’ve ever seen this god awful gym.
No paper towels to wipe machines down, escalators are down for both levels, the glass wall upstairs by cardio equipment is STILL broken it’s been 3 months and they’ve not replaced it. Are they waiting to get completely shut down??? This is the worst it’s ever been. I never write reviews but this is my first time because it’s absolutely atrocious. And no surprise everyone else has the same pains. Has got to be the worst gym ever I’m genuinely baffled ?. Might cancel my subscription and go elsewhere cuz this is awful

Jonathan is possibly the worst trainer of all time. Steer away from him. I had 4 more workouts with him and he never showed up or communicated with me. He thought he could ignore me since Xsport was transitioning to LA Fitness. He’s terrible plus I got charged for the services I never received from him. I hope he gets fired and LA Fitness cleans up the place cause it’s terrible.

The escalators are always down. Like 7 + months at a time . They don’t abide by ADA Standards. So , at some point they’ll likely face a lawsuit. The toilets are always out of order ; there’s no AC in the cardio area ; the carpet in the main level has literally feast on it. The basketball court literally has pee on it .This place is just gross. By the way, I’ve been working out here for almost 5 years. The sauna has ladies who dry their cheese underwear there for days at the time .

Today was my 2nd day going to this gym. It's not bad but there are areas in need of improvement.
Overall, the gym is a bit dirty/ outdated in areas and could use some newer equipment. There are roaches in the sauna. Seen them each day I've been. The front desk attendants are pleasant from what I've seen. The pool is nice.
Both days I've been here I had a hard time scanning out with the parking validation after leaving the gym. I had to scan my parking ticket 30 times before it would let me out. The front desk staff told me to just keep scanning and not to pay the $12 to leave. Please do something about this.
Overall, decent gym.

The new management with La fitness they are very rude and disrespectful specially and women who is on the front desk and their manager too. Because of her behavior few of my friends who were working out here they canceled their membership and 3 of us stay here and we are about to cancel our membership too. Very cheap costumer services. I wouldn’t recommend this gym for working.
