“I followed Dr Fanton here from her previous practice. She has watched over my senior dog for his last years and was always caring and understanding. She was never pushy about expensive tests, procedures, or medications and even gave me cheaper alternative options. Other vets felt like they saw my senior dog as a cash cow and would push for test after test draining my wallet. My dog Kirby lived a long life until 15 years old thanks to Dr Fanton. When I decide to get another dog, I will definitely take him/her to Kingsview with Dr Fanton.”

“Dr. L. Gomez is thorough, knowledgeable, and compassionate. She patiently answered all of my zillion questions. I took my dog to Fort Hunt Animal Hospital after her limp continued to get worse. Dr. Gomez took her time explaining everything to me and kept me updated throughout the day while she sedated my dog to do tests. When I went to pick up my dog LaLa, Dr. Gomez reviewed all the x-rays and information from the exam and prepared a thorough discharge packet. I trust her with my dogs life and am confident that my dog is getting the best care.”

Unfortunately, my cat my cat passed away but they were extremely fast in seeing him and very patient and kind when talking to me about what was going on with him. “Update: VCA Old Town was able to finally get VetSource to initiate the refund. While this was still a frustrating experience, I appreciate the manager both reaching out to me directly and ensuring this was finally resolved.
Use to be the best in town but lately it's been a disaster. Waited 20 minutes for an appointment the other day and had to remind them I was there before my dog could get seen. The relationship with vetsource is the worst I've ever experienced. Wrong delivery and no recourse though they and vetsource promised I would be refunded. Will not be returning except to dispute this vetsource nonsense.”

“I was worried when I moved to the DMV that I wouldn't be able to find a Banfield location right for me. I usually find the free standing Banfield locations better / more attentive than the locations inside Petsmart. However, I have never had any issues making appointments, getting through on the phone with questions, or with the staff at this location. For those who are used to staying with your pet in the exam room and talking face to face with the veterinarian, Banfield no longer seems to use this model at most of its locations including this one. That being said, I usually bring both my cats in at the same time and since they have anxiety, the staff always puts them on a separate exam room rather than "in the back" with all the barking dogs, so I appreciate that a lot considering I'm not with them waiting for their appointment. I do wish they would have the option of doing a face to face appointment if you want and that it was easier to make appointments on the Banfield App.”
“We love the service that my 3 Maltese receive from the Banfield team in Alexandria, VA. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Our babies health care are definitely important to us!! We have never encountered any problems with our babies at the facility.”
