Great wine selection and a big store. Unfortunately the person at the checkout counter was so rude that she spoiled the experience.

I'm sorry but I visit this store weekly. There is only 1 person there who understands customer service and she is the one who brings my order to my car scheduled for curbside pickup. She knows we are regulars. We know she isn't there when we have to go in and chase down our order. Today two managers standing doing nothing, not being helpful, not offering help, blaming their store device while on their cell phones. If you are going to offer curbside pickup, remember, you got your money so fulfill your end of the service you offer. I started going here during pandemic when my brand was scarce but that not the case any longer. There are other options.

Probably the most helpful and friendly experience I’ve ever had at a total wine and more. Everyone there was helpful and friendly, and the cashier was polite and knew how to use the system and look up accounts. That had been a problem at other locations.They didn’t have everything I like, but they had enough and I left happy. Awesome service, good selection, and always great prices.

This location is definitely a district whose streets are the wine alleys with great leaders.Ashley and Mike as the entire personnel are fantastic. They work hard for the customers, never stop.Always getting support and the right information!

Great selection, nicely laid out, staff very nice and helpful. Sadly the two wines I was looking for were out of stock. No worries, I didn't go home empty handed.

Today is Sunday July 2. On Friday June 30th I went to the Potomac Yard store to get boxes for moving and was told I could only get three a day. When I went to the store just now at 3:45 p.m. the manager Ashley told me that because of the holiday I could not get any boxes. The holiday is not until the day after tomorrow. I told her fine I do not need to spend a penny in the store ever again and she said that's fine see you soon! Terrible customer service, as boxes are basically their garbage. I had been a regular customer. She could have let me take one, as I had been told that three was fine. Moving is stressful enough.

This store is absolutely gorgeous inside and they’ve done an impeccable job of organizing everything in there. The cigar room room was an absolute treat and it is clear that the concept is to provide a unique experience when purchasing wines and alcoholic accompaniments.I had to rate this 4, because when I walked in I asked an employee for a specific vineyard and specific wine and the employee guided me in the right direction but made it a point to stop me before I walked to the section to say “they’re kind of expensive though just so you know”. I was caught off guard so I didn’t say anything in the moment but that’s not something anyone should say so someone who is asking for a specific brand of something. It is up to the customer to determine what is “expensive”.So while the store experience was great, the customer service could’ve been better:

Racist and misogynist managers, check out white customers buying liquor and don't ask for ID. For a non white customer the manager required ID for a soda purchase. Smh A soda that is non alcoholic beverage. Make that make senseI won't shop there as long as racist are allowed to work there and demonstrate their nonsense.

I love shopping for wine in this location. The store is very clean and organized and the staff is always friendly and helpful. On my last trip to the store, I was searching for a bottle of Rose (Summer in a Bottle), that apparently is very popular. I asked for help from Steven, and he went above and beyond to help me find the bottle which was boxed up in a location away from the Rose section. He was supposed to be off, but spent the extra time to find that bottle for me. That kind of customer service is very rare and hard to find and very much appreciated. This is a top notch location!

On 4/26/2023, between 1PM and 1:30 pm, I encountered two rude and unprofessional staff members. I was in an isle for awhile with the two staff members, and neither bothered to say can I help you find something. I asked one the two for some assistance and he acted like i was bothering him. He responded and started to walk away. I continued to ask him another question. He started walking away again.Then i said, never mind you are obviously busy. Anyway, I left with a familiar choice of wine and another Team member helped me to make a new selection of wine. Unfortunately, I did not get names, but if I did I would have listed them in this review. Customer service is life line to your business.

The biggest and the best place in the DMV to find wines, beers and any type of drinks you are looking for.The staff here are very knowledgeable and helpful. Someone even asked if I wanted a basket and then proceeded to go and get me one. They helped answer questions about a variety of wines and also happily educated me on different details of those wines. Not to mention, I came here looking for the impossible of wines....a wine that could meet the category of low carbs, mild tannins and low sugar. Yeah, I know, it's was a stretch!! But, the mid-year ---"new-year resolutions" struggle is real. Lol! Well 'lo and behold', in steps Total Wines & More. This store has several variety of wines and spirits that met exactly what I was looking for....which was booze without the guilt. I must say I was quite impressed, and the manager (sorry, I forgot his name) helping me to find these rare items in a sea. of wine bottles really knew his stuff and was very persistent-outstanding with the customer service provided. He walked me to each bottle location and helped explain the product. I really wish I could remember the guy (manager) that assisted me, he definitely deserves a shout out here! Nevertheless, I bought several bottles of different varieties. They were all good and now I'm quite pleased to find a place where I can get these items on repeat. I'll definitely be coming back to this store.Also, they allow returns if you don't like a wine.One last thing is they do $20 wine tasting and pairing classes every few weeks. Some of the wine I had ordered online got cancelled. But once I got to the store all three people that helped me with this issue were super professional and helpful. They explained to me that those bottles had been misplaced and that was the reason for the cancellation. They took the time to search for them and they FOUND them! Thanks, guys. You definitely understand customer service!BTW, the wine (Ed Edmundo Malbec) was delicious.

This is the best total wine! We go out of our way to shop here because the selection is fantastic and so is the staff. We love interacting with Mark and the team. They always guide us to try new things, and they're extremely knowledgeable. We've also done a wine tasting with Mark which was a blast. Highly recommend this total wine!
